That’s what happened to me I started at 5 and my sleep apnea doctor turned me up to 9-15 and it’s been a game changer since, Great advice.

I don’t think my machine is catching all my apneas someone answer at please help. So the first night I used it was at 8 in the morning for per events at night and now it’s all the way down to 3.5 or 3rd range. I still feel exhausted and sleepy even after using it. I have moderate sleep apnea and I don’t think it’s catching all those 27 episodes in each hour. Why is my Ahi so low?

When you say pressure relief do you mean pressure support?

A better idea to do first is to go to the doctors and look into the possibility of nasal flow issues and work on that. People often breath through their mouth when they can't get adequate breaths through their nose. Like everytime I've been sick before cpap because this year haven't been too sick. When sick I find myself waking up dry mouth and breathing through my mouth.

Does it have to be set on Vauto mode to automatically detect when you stop breathing?

The fun thing about these masks I wasn't expecting is the ability to sleep face into pillow, or blanket over face. It works because the vent is on the top where the elbow is, instead of the front of the nose piece 😊

Chat CPAP is dope. I honestly wonder if it would be beneficial to use it even if you don't have sleep apnea. Has anyone asked this question to doctors before? Does anyone have information about if it would be impactful (even in a minor way) when it comes to respiratory/circulatory/mental health? I believe there can be many uses for CPAP beyond sleep apnea, I haven't tested it myself but I think you could potentially use it for exercise, or while focusing hard on a task to keep your brain oxygenated.

It's the feature that helped this belly sleeper succeed w/ CPAP, that and the P30i. Now only if that mask wasn't so damned noisy in my head, like I am on a ventilator for hours every night...

I wear nose pillows but I had this one and can not wear it

i used mouth tape and a chin strap neither was effective for me. Got dried out mouth throat. completely the chin strap couldn’t even keep my mouth all the way closed lol😫 was forced to go to the full mask which works decent i guess. have to wipe it down every day with cpap wipes and do a full cleaning end of week along with hose and reservoir (dawn dish soap/water) i wish i could still use the nasal pillow mask 🤷🏻‍♂️

should i be using a resmed sd card instead of this verbatim 32gb card? maybe this is why i’m having issues retrieving the data on my computer and the sleephq site? i read that it doesn’t matter what brand sd card you use in the cpap as long as it’s at least 32 gigs. anyone know🤔?

I've also tried paper tape (first aid type). Has a pretty gentle adhesive.
