yes, it corrupts the human mind, people are stressed, mental illness is on the rise, celebrity worship, fast food culture, all for the purpose of making a buck. Some capitalists in China are worse than the US, making people work 9 to 9 6 days a week without overtime salary. Brainwashing employees to believe that the more you work the more successful you'll be. But in the end, all that money goes to your boss, you'll see him buy new cars get more girls every year. while you become mortgage slaves.

Thank you Brian, Tings and BTN, for another inspiring story about the impressive statecraft of the CPC/PRC and the leadership of Xi Jinping. Socialism with Chinese characteristics represents the world's largest ever socialist major state power. America's pathetic attempt to weaken and or slow down China's progress is a bit like trying to hold a bubble underwater. Emerging markets and developing countries know better and are taking careful note of how socialism with national characteristics can both respect sovereignty and cooperate internationally.

@supralex1 It's funny because all those videos you mentioned, I have seen it all. They're all from same anti China outlet. They're the same organisation that spread anti mask and anti vaccine. @supralex1 I just want to put this out for educational purposes. Q: Why is China adamant on zero-coVID policy even when they know it is hurting their economy? A: China is trying to prevent an explosive spread of Omicron. There are two issues here: An explosive spread of Omicron gives ample opportunity for new mutations and new variants. Who knows what the next major variant will be like? It could be the worst variant of all. With an explosive spread of Omicron comes an increased number of deaths. While the CFR (case fatality rate) may be relatively low compared to previous variants, a large number of infections will cause a large number of deaths. This is basic mathematics. China makes saving human life a higher priority than preserving the economy. I know, this is farking nuts, but that’s the Chinese for you. -Nathan James VS "A million Americans have died from Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University website" 5-5-22 Update 7-16-22 Johns Hopkins University website Deaths 1,021,306 Confirmed Cases 88,754,821 Update 8.10.22 COVID cases in school system during first week are three times higher compared to last year Data shows COVID-19 cases in Chicago public schools during the first week are triple among students and quadruple among adults compared to the first week last year. | ABC News 9.2.22 "There are 400+ deaths a day" from Covid-19 Source NBC Nightly News Full Broadcast - Sept. 2 400+ deaths a day is at 13:53 on the above video. Xi is not against anyone getting rich. He advises those who want to be rich to start a business and not be involved with politics. Leave politics for those who want to serve the people. This is a huge difference between this China and the West
@HaraldinChina2 жыл бұрын
@@lfish57 is this a reply to my comment? Any case, I totally agree. That's also the difference between socialism and capitalism: having financial capital doesn't allow you to buy political power in China. Another point by Xi: when Deng said "let some get rich first" he continued by saying "so they can take the others along with them and reach common prosperity". Xi is now demanding the second part of Deng's social contract: you have gotten rich, now it's time to deliver for the others.

@@lfish57 It's huge! Now, you won't necessarily see it in the streets or the villages, unless you know where to look for it. But in Chinese companies (I work in IT) it's all over the place, CSR is asking how to support common prosperity, but also the core development teams ask how to combine company profits, corporate development with doing things that benefit rural China, help left behind children etc. And it's always a mix between "we have to" and "I have family in poor villages, I would love to help them".

No, you don't. If you really want China to do well, you would've at least done some basic research before projecting the same old tired westerner's wet dream about China's "imminent collapse". You have no idea how proud the average Chinese is of the government who has successfully prevented the death of millions from covid while at the same time also successfully eradicated extreme poverty AND keeping inflation rate low. Meanwhile the West is there for all to see as a glaring example of how a failed society looks like with millions of covid death, rising inequality, poverty and inflation all at the same time. The contrast simply could not be more obvious for all Chinese who have the luxury of not having propaganda shoved their way 24/7 from western corporate media. Recently China already took over the US in the number of patents application, scientific paper published AND scientific paper quoted by peer scientists around the globe. Face it, dude. China has already took the mantle off the US as the most innovative country on earth. And this is only the beginning. Russia will only benefit from having a great partnership with China going forward.
