Nice video and cool that they finished 1,2 and both used your worm. When are you doing a walk thru on the new boat.

I was a tournament fisherman for over 30 years over several States. I then fished as a co-angler for more than a handful of years. I hold a Master Captain license and was a fishing guide for over eight years. Eventually I decided to sell the big boat and fish as a co-angler. My life as a co-angler was filled with many great tournaments along with many bad ones. Most boaters were fantastic however there were many but some were awful and made the experience terrible and dangerous. One boater on a very high professional level took us down a lake in very heavy fog running wide open and we barely survived not running into another idiot that was also running wide open in the dense fog. Another boater had to beach the boat because he had such a leaky boat and the bilge pump did not work that we were sinking until we beached on a sandbar to make sure we did not sink. Another boater kept us out in a violent lighting storm much longer that we should have and we had to lie down in the lower section of the boat because the lightning was so bad around us. Another boater was pissed off that I was catching more fish so while I had a fish on he swung the boat around and chopped off my line with the trolling motor. Another boater had a boat that was so covered with a filthy greasy slime on everything that when I reached over to get a bait that was stuck on some weeds my hand slipped right across and down the hull and I ended up in the water. The boater, almost deaf, never even heard me fall in. I could go on with many more stories like this but my guess is by now you get the idea. Fishing as a co-angler can be lots of fun but read about accidents. There was a co-angler that died in Okeechobee a few years ago after being thrown out of the boat with his life jacket on. He was a friend and a great fisherman.
