@@jackiebridges7138 I disagree, anger can make you brave and courageous when the moment calls for it. It does not mean being consumed by your anger or living in a state of emotional disregulation. Anger is healthy when it’s called for

I am so glad I picked it up that it is about what we can and cannot do that we try to do with what we can do. Some are provided with an environment that gives them an opportunity to go global and do justice to their opportunities while some say it is because of the calling that you were destined for that makes them content with what they couldn't have for what they did have. But it is all about how we think about what we are gifted with and the contentment that beautifies your life the truth of which we have always been taught. But we didn't know that the intention behind that was to be content because contentment brings happiness, it's another word for gratitude but with subtle different meaning that tells you HOW you can be grateful. So at the center of the universe lies contentment and anything that enables you to do that because we can never be or have enough.

Israel and Saudi Arabia, and Turkey have a very long and disturbing record of human rights abuses. Clooney, does not go there and adopt a case, why is that, is her position and the cases she takes determined by an agenda?

My comment, which briefly illustrated the reality of the legal basis for you here, was therefore deleted. So much for freedom of expression and the concept of democracy, which has nothing to do with human rights. Three terms that you journalists as well Mr. Clooney mix up quite a bit, depending on your taste. At best, Ms. Clooney goes back to school and learns the right understanding of international law.

Ok? Libel / sedition laws have been used to silence criticism from journalists and independent media by authoritarian governments. China. Russia. North Korea. Nazi Germany. Monarchies from back then and even now... Hell even Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero and other writers (and celebrated heroes) of his time were regularly imprisoned or exiled or gunned down because they wrote negatively about their oppressors and the administration those oppressors ran. You can disagree with Maria’s politics and opinions but her being convicted IS the driving force behind the support she receives from people like Amal. Because NO ONE should be criminalised for writing and openly critiquing an administration, pro-Duterte or anti-Duterte.
