On of my driver was fired from Cr England. The reason he don’t speak English. This guy finished the collage in this country. Speak 4 languages. The problem was with him , he start asking questions what Cr England don’t like to hear . He showed me the termination letter from CR England. That said . Cr England terminate the contract , and the guy don’t have to pay anything to Cr England, if the guy not going to do further legal action against Cr England. Means they know they are dirty end can be cut any time

The only thing I like about mega-carriers is the availability of nice equipment. Couldn't see myself paying off a 160k truck + 80k trailer while still managing to buy fuel and food, pay bills and insurance, maintenance/repairs, laundry and send cash home to a family. R.I.P. My Bank Account

Your trainer can get a team shower and it only cost one shower on his card - that’s why I left them the first time they started playing with my home time, I quit in Utah and flew to Georgia because they think they should come first in your life

training school and I mean any training school that charges $5000+ for training fucking shame on you. I was a pay out of pocket trucking school driver and im now 10 years in driving. Let me put it this way for anyone thinking of being a trucker. It can be frustrating and you will from time to time run into bs but if you look around and find a good company you will be in good shape, you will have 2 to 3 days off every 10 days and you won't hardly ever be rushed on loads. I hear people complaining about elds but in my opinion thank god for them. Now companies can't fuck you over with impossible loads. You will for the first year most likely have a bullshit company but you gotta get in some time btw and move on. Don't just settle for anyone that'll give you a job. Find a company that goes where you want to and doesn't were you don't. Feel um out. And for God's sake dont go to a company like cr England and ones that offer "free" training because 9/10 if a scam to work you to the bone and pay you chicken feed. Go get a loan from a bank or borrow the money for family if you have to and only when your without options do you go to one like Cr England. There are people out there that you can find who will let you train in thier trucks for cheap just so you can pass the driving portion. Go online and download the books and study. The entire test at the dmv might cost you 150 bucks. Think about that. These companies want you to pay thousands or put you back up against a wall with a 2 year contract just so they appear to teach you what you need to know. Im here to tell you almost nothing they teach you matters only about 10% of what they teach you. They charge you thousands for a test less than 200 bucks and just to use there trucks to drive for maybe an hour a day while you get saddled with many other students. There are alot of nice truckers out there that will show you how to drive and let you learn all and way more than you would wasting money and time at a trucking school. I will say this do not expect to make tons of money for a few years and never will you make so much money your well off. Don't get me wrong because you can make alot more than you could working somewhere else but you also sacrifice you time at home with family. My first few year I may have made 30k a year. Not till year 5 did I get closer to 40k and now 10 years in 50k which to some truckers may not seem like much but where I live thats incredible pay. If I can give anyone new to this or thinking of doing this any more advice its this. Find a company that is dedicated that avoids places going to new york or california just trust me its a nightmare or find a company that pays you park of what they get paid for the loads, if you can find a good one that does that there you will make some good money if they busy and quick on loads. Those pay you a % of what they're gonna be paid for a load usually 25% or more which if they're fast finding you loads and you can find one that doesn't travel outside or a few hundred miles you will rack up some cash. Just my advice on this.

I've been with c.r England for 1yr and 6 months. It's a good company to start out.. but not a good company to build your career with. I'm with j.b hunt. Been with them for 2 years. I have a brand new 2019 Kenworth, I choose my own loads and I'm home every week. I have the best DM and I average $1500 to $1800 take home. If you're interested call them. They will give you more info about being a independent contractor. And you don't have to do 62mph..lol they have brand new pete's freightliners, volvos, Kenworths. They go through 2 different leasing companys..

Paying cash on a cdl course makes life easier. Not having $6000 to pay for schools makes it rough on many. School gives you the loan then you have to pay it back. They keep about 60% of what you make until paid in full in about a year. I suggest come in with $6000 Cash or credit

Well first to beginning it’s not easy you have to be away from home until you get your experience once you do three months over the road can you search back at home to see if anyone can hire you with three months experience and that’s where you start

I know if the wheels aren't turning you aren't making money. But I was under the impression you had a choice of being home with Cr within the 2 to 3 week mark. I guess I should listen to what these other truck drivers tell me that this company will lie and lie and make promises they never keep.

Same here my friend, i Heard so much negative about CR England that i had to see it to believe it. My experience was un explainable! While i was in the truck with mentor i was searching the Web for another Trucking Co! And getting my time in. Once i reached the 3rd month we had to Take a 34hr rest break in Chicago Truck Stop. That’s when i reached Swift. Swift gave me the Greyhound ticket to be printed out inside Truck stop in Chicago. I packed up and Told mentor SORRY ITS AN EMERGENCY GOT’s TO GO!!!.. i went around the truck stop and waited 3hrs for the Greyhound Shutter bus which took me to Swift Terminal at Memphis Tennessee . Pass the Drug and Road test. Swift Put me on a Plane to get my Truck at Oregon State. I drove from Oregon State to Jonestown PA Swift Terminal to start on a Walmart Dedicated home every weekend for Six months. After the six month I asked for a transfer for a Swift Intermodal home daily. It was hell to get out of Walmart bcuz of the Driver leaders there , but i made it thru. Swift put me on another plane to go Home Thursday night to start Monday fresh on a Intermodal account. God is good i made it thru . Now I’m almost on my 3rd year as a Truck Driver. Sometimes you have to sacrifice and let everything behind quite my job leave wife behind! I had faith in God and he will provide.. I made it .and proud i did the sacrifice. It was worth every moment I spent living with a dude in a Truck. If i did it so can you! Forget about the people do you go for it. It doesn’t matter what Trucking school you go to. What matters the most is to get your mug shot and a CDL class A license . Then Become a Professional Truck Driver! Good luck

“Baby wipe, baby wipe mf baby wipe!” I’m in it.. The only people that say good things about this company is the instructors, and trainers.. You don’t get paid when they send you out here for the 10-17 days that you are here because it’s a numbers game.... Overloaded classes and once you pass you get not even a day of hometime. For 150-180 hours of drive time gross 560 after taxes is 471-500 for those weeks Then they give you a completely different trainer where you do phase 2 for an “upgraded” flat rate. At this point the trainers and the company are making crazy money off of you an it is for the experience. However.. it seems once you get your own truck and can go solo is where you are getting ultra f***ed Solo they say “34 cpm” but really it’s split between you and the company.. so really it’s 17 cpm so in a week if you do 2,700 miles (which is hard to do because live loads, breakdowns, etc) your only making 460 or so before taxes.. That’s why they pump.. “be a trainer, teams teams” an even with teams it’s crap” After a year they give you the “rookie standard” like 60cpm split so like 30.cpm which your basically making the same as when you where in phase 3 just by yourself if you can get to the 2,700 miles or more Think about if you want home time as well

After the year contract is Over if I see the pay ain’t worth it I’m moving on to another company but now with a year experience, which is what most company’s that pay good are looking for

When you get your own truck and if you think you'll keep it for a while, you can get CRE to put an inverter in your truck. It's expensive, I think about $650, but you can have a microwave. Keep at it! Things get better the longer you stay with the company. I'm writing this from home, I just finished a trip.

Robert Rivera . Congratulations. Once u made it to red roof then your on a waiting list for your trainer. They won't send you home after you completed PHASE 1 then u can request time off. Remember u can only be out 4 days If u take longer they will put u on the quite list. But if that happens u can always get back in. Good luck

I no longer work for them. They are well known thru out the industry 😅 but use them as a stepping stone. Other companies pay better, but get the experience. Learn the Macro commands and hrs to drive and hrs off. You will get no hometime 😉

That's a sensor camera it activates when you hard brake or in a accident, it records 5 minutes before and after a incident . And I also record how fast you're going stop signs and speed limit

Lavonte Berry . Hey .. If you have your permit all you have to do is get your physical with them and study pre trip in cab and 3 point Break test And you be done in about 14 to 18 days depending how fast you learn everything. Good luck God bless you, keep me posted

Victoria Peterson . According to what they have explained! In Phase2 which is in about 2an half to 3 months.

There are only two phases. Phase 1 (the one you were in when you posted this) requires 165-180 driving hours, which should take 4 weeks to complete - maybe less. Phase 2 Second Seat is team driving and requires at least 100 driving hours. After that, you get assigned your own truck... assuming one is available to assign to you AND your DM thinks you're ready for it. I'm a trainer with CRE, btw

Phase 2 isn't really training. You learn a lot in phase 1. In phase 2 you're just some lease operator's bitch so they can make money while they sleep.

Andrew E. Well in my opinion it's not bad because if you put it this way they pay for everything and get you prepare for the CDL and then you have to pay them back while you drive for them with a trainer it is tough the first couple of months but then you decide what you want to do next

Get the initial experience then go to JBHunt they will hire u Local DCS Intermodal .However keep your record clean , Do not get caught up in there LP program , its a ripoff,

I made $250.00 a week salary as 2nd seat on a moving van. But then too, I got grandfathered into my cdl, last year I grossed 92k & am home every day & weekend...called paying your due's

I agree with you guys. But my hate is towards the company. They 💩 drivers by the minute! I can't stand seeing my trucking brothers being burnt out just to make minimum wage. Something they could make being home daily. I said go to a independent trucking school. Go to a decent if not better company(Roehl from personal experience). And be home more while making more money. I started with Roehl and went to WTI. Now 4 1/2 years later I own my own trucks and flatbed trailers with my own authority. There's hope, we just gotta stick together and don't let these billion dollar company's screw over the good drivers in this industry. I'm running local in the state of North Carolina and running no more than 250 miles a day. And clearing anywhere between 3-4000$ a week. My advice to you guys, don't give up, but don't allow a carrier to burn you out just to make loose change. There's better out there.
