Great video dinner made me hungry. I had to pull out some shrimp crab and lingcod for dinner. In Washington we use red and white floats for crab and yellow for shrimp. I would like to see a razor clam catch and cook video. Love the videos great job

As far as cinching up the gaps between panels so crabs cant escape, I just use something cheap like twist ties, and for weight a good size rock like from the jetty there will do. For weighing down the trap doors just tie a small drop weight to each one. Lastly, for cheap bait just look for the fish cleaning station nearest to the boat dock, take a look in the nearest dumpster and more often than not you'll find a few skinned carcasses. That's my 2 cents for crabbing on a budget

steamer clams or manilas are different then butter clams. I dig butter clams the size of my fist outside of Port Townsend. My Fav. This is my favorite channel on You Tube. Keep it up Jordan!

Great video. Just a heads up. Lobster mushrooms are indeed caused by the parasite Hypomyces attacks Russula and Lactarius mushrooms. Which cause some pretty meh mushrooms to become a unique sorta seafood tasting mushroom. And Chantrells have a unique ability at being super resilient to all types of pests and wouldn't be preyed on by that previously mentioned parasite. At least that is the knowledge I have of it currently. That lobster mushrooms and clam combo seemed pretty dope.

When go up to coos bay Oregon from Sacramento. I always used shad for the crab bait. Also a great crab bait is Tuna heads crab love that stuff.

That is a sweet battery. My 130Ah DIY LiFePO4 will run my teardrop for almost 4 days with a refrigerator and inverter going. I'm sure on a kayak it gives you the feeling of being able to go anywhere.
