Great video! Raising those boys right! Brings back memories of my childhood from the 60s when boys were raised in the outdoors, fishing with their dads and exploring the creeks and woodlands. Boys were boys and girls were girls. Pretty much, that has disappeared these days. Keep these videos coming! Subscribed.

Down here in North QLD Australia, we used similar contraptions called "Whacko Poles". You'd cut a piece of bamboo about 10-12' long and about 2.5"at the base 1/2" at the tip and tie a piece of 80lb nylon about 4" long to the tip. You would then put a 5/0 Treble and bait with 3 live prawns (shrimp). We'd then drop it in snags for Barra or Mangrove Jacks (Mangrove Snapper for you guys). And once they hit, "Whacko" rip them out of the snags before they can brick you.

Those conch mushrooms are medicinal like turkey tail, and Chagga, + lion's mane, I can't say what for, but you can look it up. I'm sure they will fix something that ails you. There is one called Cordyceps, that is commercially grown now but the original comes from the high plains of Tibet and they grow on live caterpillars for food.

I've been trying to forage for some lobster!! Got tons of russulas and milk caps and haven't seen any. We got tons of chicken mushies here but I'm not a huge fan of those. Taste like dry chicken breast 🤮 I absolutely love chanterells . I have learned so much about the parasitic lobsters and the symbiotic relationship that the chanterells share with the trees. Wish I had started learning in my younger years ,I'd be a mycologist🍻🍄♥️

It kills me everytime I see you frying fish with those potatos. next time you buy those instant potatos, go the the bottom shelf and grab a box of Original plain instant potatos in the box. Thats the original way to fry fish with potatos and the taste and texture blows the stuff your using out of the water. Trust me and try it, it will change everything!!! I was taught this recipe in Alaska by halibut longliners in the early 90's. I made it once with the potatos your using and it sucked compared to the original potatos. Love your videos, your a natural Jordan!!!
