1979 and first job out of college living in north Baltimore suburb of Cockeysville listening to local FM radio and all I needed to hear was the opening riff for Lighten Up McGraw and I was hooked!! I know i have 2-3 albums stored away in my collection. Found Face Dancer that same year. Brings back great memories!

I never saw cts live, but I found the "live sky" album after a friend told me it was a "must have", and he was freakin' right! That was 1983, or so. Been a fan ever since! Now, I did see MF open for AC/DC on their Highway to Hell tour, 3 months before Bon died, so I can vouch for them for sure! They blew us away! Of course, Angus, and Bon were in top form that night, lol!

A great band that somehow flew under the radar and never got the recognition they deserved. Personally I think they inspired Nirvana to some extent with their pregnant pause technique. I wouldn't have ever heard them in commercial radio here in Atlanta except for our local tiny college radio station in the late 70s. Thank you WREK.

"Safety In Numbers" was the album that saved me from the top 40 garbage being served up at that time. How these masters of the possibilities their instruments had to offer weren't recognized then is still amazing to me and ended my listening to radio. Now after 49 years of playing music I continue to reach out of my comfort zone and back to what matters to me. HOW I FEEL PLAYING WHAT I LOVE ! I can see it in their eyes & performance that they LOVE what they do. That is the magic & secret here. Fuck the suits & bury me with my gear so I can play while I sleep! To all the guys in C.T.S., bless you all for saving all of us from the mediocracy in commercial music.

And The Wounded Warrior Project is anti-2A as well. As much as I love Crack the Sky's music, they are on the record as being, well . . . less than 2A friendly, shall we say? That's too bad, because they're otherwise brilliant.

Wounded Warriors project is a money making scam. Under no circumstances support them. It's a wonderful thought but the employer of these "heroes' should be picking up the bill for the men and woman they have destroyed. I love CTS. This may make everyone feel good but you're just lining someone's pockets for pure profit.
