Cracked Plastic Repair - Stitched

I had to fix the crack in my garbage can so I made a video of it.

Thank you. After more than a year of being tossed around by the arm of the garbage truck each week most of the zip ties are still in place. And the few that are missing are easily replaced.

Just curious - How long did this hold up after you put it all together?

Good question. I did this in June of 2022. The garbage truck is NOT gentle with these cans and id say after a year and a half, half of the zip ties are busted. But in general it has worked great and it's easy enough to replace the zip ties where needed. I could probably double them up if i wanted but using thicker ones might be good too.
