God bless you and Stephen both, you guys are great examples of what we all should strive to be. Y’all stepped up to help a brother in his time of need and continue to do so for his family now that he’s been called to his heavenly home. Much love and God’s blessings upon you and your family! 🙏🏻❤️

First of all. I’m heart broken. Praying for his family. He’s healed finally. I believe that completely. Second. The axes look 🔥. When you cut off that piece I thought the same thing you did. It looked like an axe all by itself. Good luck on the auction.

I was not expecting that. Great idea, so that you don't just end up throwing an axe in the trash. Great content as always. Thanks for the content, it really helps with these days in isolation.

I did this exact same thing to a double but I restored. But instead of a crack, mine was improperly sharpened for years. The bit looked like a curly W on one side. It still turned out to be a good axe.

I love these vids man, bringing new life to something otherwise thought useless. I'm a firm believer that everything has a soul and deserves and wants to be used and loved and appreciated and it's great to see things given a second, third, or even fourth chance. I think I get what you're torn up about and I admire your respect by not mentioning it. It's refreshing to see that kind of consideration in a world where everyone shares news as fast as they can for the views. We love ya Justin.

How would a person contact you. I have an early Kelly Made axe from the 1930s. It belonged to my wife's grandfather. I don't have the tools or the know-how, but I would be interested in sending it to you to see if you could work your magic on it and put a special handle on it. Just curious on what it would cost. The family owned a lumber company in Rhinlander, WI between the 1910s and 1960s. Lot of sentimental value to th family and by some miracle it was gifted to me since I use axes regularly. I have spent many hours watching all your videos and I'd love for you to see what you could do. Let me know how I might contact you.

Great little project, not a fan of the scalloping divots, though. Just seems like a good place for rust and dirt to collect. Makes a clever wall-hanger as an art piece. Good to see you back up and running.

You can use a thin layer of wet clay to acheive a differential heat treat on a peice as the clay will somewhat insulate the metal.
