The first symptom of a crack in a wheel rim is often a slow air leak. This video will show you how to check if your wheel rim is cracked and how to repair cracked wheel rims (the process). However, please note, although most cracked alloy wheels can be repaired, you really do need to find someone experienced in doing this sort of work. This isn’t a job for an inexperienced welder or someone tackling the job for the first time.
