We have always liked Cracker Barrel. When we traveled we looked for Cracker Barrel on the interstates because we were guaranteed a good meal with reasonable prices.

The nearest Cracker Barrel to us, is a 3 hour drive!!! But we always stop in for food and a little shopping when we go to Flagstaff. Now I really want to go and try some of those new specials. Glad you had a good experience. Our cracker barrel here locally has not been good the last several times we went. Last time I went it was with family and all of our orders were either incorrect or not good. Took way too long also. It wasn't just a one-time thing. Friends of mine have posted on Facebook lately that they have tried again and everyone is saying the same thing. Quite the disappointment. I still have a gift card to use and we will probably go in there and try to get breakfast one day. Not be so much you can mess up on a breakfast. At least we can hope. I love their gift shop.

After your last review of the Easter merchandise, I quickly ran to my local CB and bought the last 2 rabbit blow molds! They said a man had asked them to hold for him, but he never came back so I grabbed them (they do not hold overnight). I love your reviews and now I need to go to try the food. I am always pleased with their menu and like Bobbie, I always order the carrots! I think these restaurants should offer you discounts since you always bring them more business.

Love the new food items at Cracker Barrel! Bobbie's meal Sweet and Smoky Chicken tenders I'll try! The loaded Mashed Potato looked so good! The carrots were soft. Love John's meal The steak tips looked so good. I might try the marinated chicken tenders, shrimp looked awesome Love shrimp. The green beans I know are good and the baked beans looked like homeade! The grilled chicken tenders are marinated in zesty Italian dressing. You can make them at home, and if you have a George Foreman grill then you can even get the same kind of sear on both sides! :)

You picked great choices (I love CB so much)! They both looked so great - funny that this is the first time the real food looks better than a picture in a restaurant! I generally enjoy the marinated grilled chicken myself - I don't usually need any sauce - it is a great choice to get it with the tips and the shrimp. Did they come with hush puppies in there (picture looks like it does). For sides, I can never pass up mac & cheese - I don't know why! I would love to try their peach tea. The smoky fried tenders looked so great - so much better than the picture. The portion was huge. I never know how they are going to look in a place that serves tenders. hehe CB meals are usually so reasonably priced, especially for the portions and additions of sides and biscuits/muffins.

We do love Cracker Barrel. It seems we are usually there for breakfast, though on one occasion we had dinner at one down south en route to Florida. The manager was doing a special that night with fresh trout. Delicious! We have two about an hour or so away. One in Rhode Island near the Connecticut line and one in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Both are good, and we love those stores. Never can leave without buying something.

The Cracker Barrel near us or in the state of Maryland I am not seeing the menu drink like the mojito drink. Plus the meals are showing beers behind it. Definitely, need to check it out it has been awhile. Going to try the beignets. Agree that Cracker Barrel has some great meals. Former Cracker Barrel cook here. The grilled chicken and steak tips are marinated for 24 hours in Ken's Italian dressing. The carrots are super easy to do at home. It's simply carrots cooked in butter and brown sugar.
