The real truth about this is that those cricket lighters and/or any same type of lighter, would never be a crack lighter because the flame does not get hot enough to melt the crack in the pipe, so crackheads do not use those lighters at all. BIC lighters they use but not the other type.

Wtf? Any lighter burns crack. Crack lighter is a nickname and nothing else. Torches have been around for ages. They never needed a “crack lighter”. They can use anything.

Spinning the nozzle on a regular bic does nothing. The nozzle is just a tube with the nozzle part inside it, the nozzle part has a base thats has a piece of rubber stuffed into the end to cover the hole in the base of the tube, common on a lot of butane lighters. Can't adjust the flame height without drilling out the holes, which are maybe .0020".

Not sure exactly what you're doing with the bic. I take them apart all the time I cut them in half and make them shorter and put refill valves on them I install lights into them secret stash in the bottom 3/4 of some with custom cases, magnets, a laser one, one with small 510 vape in bottom. All still fully functional when finished. Couple even use gas/alcohol like zippo. One has hidden cam/microphone recorder. Anyway what I'm saying is I'm not sure why you're turning the Bic there are no threads whatsoever on the brass piece you're turning or the aluminum piece that it sits in which is inset in the plastic plastic case. If you remove the red button you can simply lift that brass piece you're turning up out I guess what you're doing actually is just loosening up the plastic part of the base by slight bending and prying when twisting and allowing just a little bit more flow to come through.
