Only to find out it was all a trick and they only 'forgave' him for it. 3. Forced to kill his own mother due to a curse the gods put on her. 4. Forced to fight his own brother due to the gods torturing him and breaking his mind. 5. Forced to leave his daughter abandon his daughter in heaven all to ultimately save her as a god threatened to end her existence in heaven. List goes on bruh. To top it off, he was finally reunited with his daughter is Elysium (Chains of Olympus) only for him to leave her again in order to prevent Atlas from destroying the pillar in the underworld that was holding the earth up. Then in Ghost of Sparta, he ended up having to kill his own mother bc Zeus placed a curse on her that turns her into a monster if she ever revealed who Kratos' father was.

I dare to say Kratos had tasted almost EVERY favour of PAIN. The pain of losing (in his case, killing) your own family, losing your own brother after not seeing him for decades and then watching him die right before you, losing your mother, killing those who don't deserve to die yet they beg you to kill them, losing those you swore to protect, watching a world around you burning because of you... There are just so many things, I think you know what I mean. What I want to say is that if somebody would dare to say "What do you know about..." in front of Kratos, they will be shocked to hear the truth. Just as Freya was when she heard Kratos had a child before Atreus.

Kratos' "godly power" is his rage, as an olympian he grows stronger with age, but since he is activity holding his rage back for the good of his close one's, we don't see Kratos' full power, we only see hints of it pop up every so often, like against heimdall. And yet even though he is holding back, no norse God is a match for him. Imagine for a second what he could do if he fell back into his Ghost of Sparta ways. I don't think anything could stand in his way
@alphaisyeeting48802 жыл бұрын
@@Biggerwhenpulled Well not really. His current state is just better atributes by ALOT compared to GOW3. But his prime is still in GOW3 because of how OP the weapons and magic power he had during that time.
@Biggerwhenpulled2 жыл бұрын
@@alphaisyeeting4880 I'd argue his current weapons are more op than what he had then, the only exception being the blade of Olympus of course. And yeah, without his magic he seems weaker, but we can't really compare since we haven't seen his full strength at any point in the recent games. He beat Baldur, and Magni, and the Valkiries without even getting frustrated, and Heimdall, well we all saw that as soon as Kratos got angry, Heimdall got swatted like a bug. And he was only angry, no where near enraged. If Kratos ever fell back into his Ghost of Sparta ways, he could burn Asgard to the ground on his own without any issues

For anyone wondering, the current theory is that the Blades of Chaos are either the originals that have been cursed to follow him or they are actually the Blades of Athena, the reason for that being that the Fire Titan imbues those blades with her power. Hence why the blades in the Norse Games are so powerful and deal fire damage, they have Primordial fire magic inside them. Its why (SPOILERS AHEAD) Surtr has you use them to ignite Sinmara's heart inside him, because they can channel primordial fire energy easily.
