Richard Shaw was so good in CoF. He had riffs for days. Lindsay Schoolcraft was also great, loved her vocals. It's a shame they had to leave the band. Hammer of the Witches and Cryptoriana are my favourite albums.

Gorgoroth is black metal, COF was, but no longer is black metal. Don't confuse the two.

Ethan Sutton Both are black metal sir. The difference between Gorgoroth and CoF is that Gorgoroth is more a "raw" Black Metal, while CoF mixes the Black Metal itself with melodic black and symphonic black, but both are Black Metal bands.
