Seeing all those legendary cards that see no play at all made me realize how much this new set flopped, i really hope they spend more time testing the next starcraft cards, i don't want them to flop as hard as these ones.

look on hsreplay for which cards ARE the most played. zilliax is ubiquitous to the point that decks should just get 29 slotsnow, and zilliax be stuck in the 30th slot for every deck

You realize the only reason they "failed" is not because they're badly designed cards , it's because they're trying to lower the power level of the game and this is a consequence of it since we have some of the most broken expansions still in rotation ( Titans , Showdown in the Badlands etc.) after these get rotated and we get more support I wouldn't be surprised if most of these cards see play.

Knew Ceaseless Expanse would be no. 1 without skipping to the end 😉One of the best board clears with a massive body that puts Deathwing to shame. Don't think I've seen a legendary that's been used in almost every deck in Standard

I like the Starship concept but it's terrible in practice. I can't tell you how many times Reno has eaten my ship before it even launched.

@@RznRYT Oh Reno is just the worst offender I've seen in my games. But there is so much insta-removal that you can't really even use it. It if makes it two turns after launch, you're really lucky.

I'm actually fine with the expansion being a lower power level and hope that the next expansion/rotation similarly lowers the power level so we get more interesting and less frustrating games.

It's absolutely incredible that since I stopped spending money on the game due to the abusive price hike in my country, the only legendaries I open in packs are the ones considered useless, lame or bad... If Blizzard weren't such a benevolent company, I would suspect that it was something more than a mere coincidence...

it´s not that the set is weak but rather the previous sets were ridiculous and very overtuned. Once badlands and titans rotates out and they continue to lower or atleast keep the power level stable the game will be more fun again... i hope so anyway

I love this expansion theme and starship mechanic but I just refuse to put all the effort into building a starship just for Reno to wipe it away in an instant. As long as Reno is not nerfed / banned I refuse to play any starship decks apart from Starship Hunter who just MIGHT be fast enough to kill someone by turn 10 without ramp / mana cheat.

Some of the cards in this set will see more play after the next rotation in the Spring. A lot of powerful cards will rotate out and there will be a smaller pool to choose from.

In my opinion, the best way to lower the power level is to have less sets in the standard meta. Probably just the last 4 sets and the core set. Every expansion a set should rotate to wild

You should craft only cards from Wizbang, Perils and Dark Beyond expansions. Wheel is from Wizbang's workshop i think is a safe craft if you have dust to do it and dont run out of dust. Also to consider if you want to know what is craft worth, check if a deck you like next year loses a significant amount of cards. Like highlander decks, because next year Reno rotates.

what purpose does crafting a golden card serve? the normal version is the exact same... you wont win more just because a cards gold lol. you can even craft more cards if u saved your dust instead of crafting gold... lol

Yeah, you are complety right, i have a lot of golden cards, i love them, i have like 3 diamonds and 2 signatures in my all golden DK, with diamond skin, or my mithic Ragnaros full golden deck, or Pally.... and i dont know if people think im better at the game, or emote so hard trying to believe themselves are so good just by winning me a game, and im like yeah bro, theyre the exact same cards, i could be unlucky or play bad as you. I dont know if i explained it correctly, but they feel so superior to winning me, or soooo angry by losing.

What is the pack buying sequence after getting all rares for Perils in Paradise & Great Dark Beyond? We know about: whizbang (190 avg dust/pack) -> badlands(188) -> Titans(173) But how much avg dust/pack is Perils in Paradise and how much is Great Dark Beyond?

Firstly, I like this channel. Secondly, I think that this lower power level may actually be good for the post rotation since most of the OP stuff will be gone, it may be the only way to not endlessly powercreep: It's ok to have some months where the newer expansions are not that impactful in order to avoid infinite powercreep, I guess we'll soon see.

Siento que fue una serie de eventos desafortunados. Elemental mage sin el set ya era bastante bueno y sumado los spells y el elemental que roba 3 arrasaron con los mazos midrange que aun faltaban optimizar. Sumado a los problemas del quazar rogue volvio ideal jugar mazos control de mucha armadura como druida starship, blood dk y guerrero odin. Un mazo aggro - modrange no puede hacer mucho contra 50-90 de salud. Por esto creo que tantas cartas con potencial no tengan data.

I think it's a bit disingenuous to call it a "control meta" when its only OTK and the most popular deck is an aggro deck. Its a combo meta like United in Stormwind if anything.

I warned you that warlovk's 3 mana legendary effect was horrible! The worst part was realizing that the warlock's other 7-mana legendary is also bad! Congratulations to the fat game designers for this incredible, terrible work, I used to think it was bad to have to play the season with weak and useless cards, today, I change card games! You balance the game based on power outliers which stand out at higher levels of competitive play. This is how it is done in CS, LoL, Starcraft and any other popular game ever. Your favourite KZbinrs, for the most part are not at the top end of ladder. Could you imagine letting average redditors balance the game? 😆
