I recently reviewed the Craft Pure Trail as well and found it to be an adventurous and fun trail shoe with a solid build and excellent materials. That said, I also found it to be too wide in the upper (perfect in the toe-box) and a little too stiff in the midfoot. My foot was sliding side to side on technical trails which was not preferred. The rubber outsole exceeded my expectations and the rock plate did great! I also really liked the upper materials but I wish it had a more snug midfoot fit with additional overlay support.

Your trail videos need more love man. These are always a great watch and your run footage/clips make the shoes come to life more than other reviews out there. I dont even run trails and i can still appreciate the work put into these reviews

Kofuzi, I love your shoe reviews. They are almost perfect. One thing I wish you’d put more importance on is fit. I’d love to hear about the width AND the volume of the toebox, ball of the foot, instep, and heel area. With that info, you’d have the most perfect reviews. Thank you!

@kofuzi i feel you are doing a fair job around 3:00 on this. But I'd like to know your feet as a reference to the things you're saying. This way I get a better understanding how feet would fit roughly.

Thanks for the consistent coverage of Craft shoes going back over the years. Great feedback to have a road person like you able to help the brand out as they try to provide a good shoe for different markets or use cases. This is on my list of trail shoes for sure now.

Ever since you recommended Craft winter clothings, I kept buying from them every once in a while for both winter and summer gears. Craft is great! Both designs and materials used. They are unique and eye catching

I met our craft representative during my Marathon in Dresden, he gave me a pair for free... Hell this shoe was a surprise. Its not too squishy and swimmy like the caldera 6, and feels not as maximalistic and over engineered as the nike zegama. It just feels good and hits all the spots, it has a lot of cushion but you still can feel the trail and the upper is a dream, feels like vapar wave from nike, just more durable. True to size is well said, can confirm it. Amazing to see craft reviews from you!

Great review. Sound for me like a softer Catamount 2 with the infused foam and no carbon plate.

I'd say it's a lot softer than the Catamount 2

Great review Ko! You should review the Texton X2 soon, I’ve heard a lot of opinions from other runners between the two shoes but a lot of people seem to like the X2 better. Idk whether it’s the HOKA brand or something else but I would love to hear your opinion!

Craft Endurance Trail, is also a interesting shoe that provides balance of trail with a bit of road, great shoe if you have a chance to check out.

Wondering how this midsole (Cr Foam) compares to Pro Endurance Trail's midsole (Px Foam).
@smlrsn Жыл бұрын
Cr foam is super critical foam (nitrogen infused) and has about 15% Peba in it, whereas Px foam is a beaded etpu, both have excellenct energy return but id say the Cr foam has a bit more softness and Px is a bit more snappy. Both are great foams but I think itll just come down to prefrence. Cheers

When I hear fuel cell like I. Immediately worry about durability and how fast the midsole might lose its bounce and get mushy. Really hoping for a 100 mile review but don’t think that’s realist for a trail shoe, or is it? Anyway thx for a great review and all the work as always 🫶
@kofuzi Жыл бұрын
the truth is that I run mostly roads and so my trail shoes don't always get to 100 miles because there are just so many good trail shoes at the moment. so this year, I've tried to reduce the number of trail shoes that I take on. I do hope to get this one o 100 miles. it's a good one

hey, I ride "asics superblast / puma velocity nitro V2". I want a waterproof running shoes for city and park run. Which model do u reckon ? I saw the nike pegasus trail 4 gtx.
@kofuzi Жыл бұрын
If it’s hot, get a shoe that drains easy. If it’s cold, I do like goretex or waterproof shoes. If it’s road, Peg Trail 4 GTX might not give you the right kind of traction in cold wet conditions. If it’s very muddy or technical trails, the Peg Trail 4 GTX might not be technical enough

I'm hesitant to even spend $170 on a pair from a brand that I already like and own shoes from. $170 for a shoe from a brand that is relatively unknown is completely ridiculous. To call this a good price makes me feel like you're selling out to the company that sent you free shoes, and makes me hesitant to trust future reviews. Good b-roll footage though, as always.
