Craft Studio Organization: Die Cuts & Ephemera

Another episode in my Craft Room Organization Series is this important topic: Die Cuts & Ephemera storage. I have been asked so many times how I store these essentials because honestly, they are quite tricky! After my recent destash of supplies, I managed to pare my collection down to these and store them attractively in my craft room. I showcase my two main storage methods plus share ideas how I pack them for travel, use them daily and more!

You can always get a vintage crate like the one you have that came from Michael's. You might be surprised what you can find to use as storage in flea markets and garage sales. Mother and I both have a card catalog each from a local library, they got rid of all their wood card catalogs when they went all digital and we were lucky enough to get two of those cabinets with all those great little drawers for next to nothing! I shop at flea markets, garage sales, goodwill, thrift stores and any other place like that! I have a business that is 3 fold where I take vintage things and upscale them for sale, another part is I sew and make stuffed animals for children, I love to give parents an alternative to a toy made in another country that can become that special toy they carry around with them everywhere, also, there is love sewn into each and every thing I make and sell for those little hands to love! The last part of my business is, I am in the process of starting my Etsy shop with journaling/planner kits and supplies. I want to start out small and get my name out there and quality of work and then build from there. Being a graphic artist by trade and a crafter my entire life, I think I have a lot to add to this fantastic new world that has sprouted from the Earth as a need for organization of our lives has blossomed in to beautiful bloom!

I use Container Store Desk Drawer Tray. Love them. Got them years ago, not even for scrapbooking. Pulled them out last year for sorting and organizing.

Love this video. I enjoy seeing how other people store their supplies. I am always looking for storage solutions and this one for the die cuts was one I really needed to see. You certainly have a lot of die cuts. I don't think we ever have enough. There always seems to be one more that we need. LOL. Would love to see how you store your scrapbook paper. I loved Tina's craft space video!💜! But...I think I can relate more to yours!😝 I flippin' save EVERYthing. Thank you so much for the information, I will definitely be purchasing the baggies with the ring!! I love them!! I don't know how I missed them in your shop.lol I am using ziplock baggies right now. I pretty much store my ephemera the way you do, in containers but I bought mine from Dollar General and they are trays that stack 3 high and have a lid with a handle. I love them! I found them in the storage section and the price was $8.00 + tax. I LOVE your idea on how you store your little ephemera flowers!! I have a cute little dish that I will now store my flowers in too!!
