I’ll try to clarify a lot of the questions that were asked here! About resin/UV light: -Resin is completely optional you don’t have to use it! -If u do use uv resin, you don’t need a UV light you can sun dry it outside~ (but u need da sun) -if there’s no sun there is something called epoxy resin where it will harden/dry for 24 hours on its own! No need for uv light or sunlight! -The best substitute for resin could be mod podge or mod podge dimensional magic! -clear nail polish can smear do not use if you don’t want to mess up your keychains -⚠️⚠️⚠️ uv resin/epoxy resin is not safe!!!! PLEASE use protection. If you choose to use resin wear gloves, masks, and even eye protection! Also, you should do it in a place that has good ventilation where there is good airflow! About shrink plastic or shrinky dinks: -If you can’t get shrink plastic/shrinky dinks, another option is recycled plastic! Make sure it’s labeled #6! It tells you more about it online :) About the microwaves: -No, unfortunately you cannot shrink plastic in a microwave it must be an oven/toaster oven ~ -I think there are more ways to shrink it without an oven! You can find out with the help of the internet! Sorry I don’t have the answer to everything 😭 About markers/pens/sharpies/acrylic paint: -You can use sharpies! I just found out through a bunch of comments telling me that using mod podge can seal the ink in so that it won’t spread when using resin! Or you could skip the resin as a whole and just use the pod podge as a finish! Thank u for the advice guys!! 😊 -I don’t know every type of marker but if it is water based (ex: crayola markers) it will easily smear off the plastic sheet so those are not good to use for coloring -color pencils are GREAT and they really bring out the details in your coloring! For everyone asking I used prismacolor color pencils, but ALL color pencils will work just fine :) -you can use acrylic paint! But make sure to do thin layers! About drawing: You don’t have to draw it if you have a printer! Just print an image of a crewmate and just trace over it with the plastic sheet! Very easy!! 🤩 - I drew them about 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide ~ Editing app/background music: -I use the editing app called vllo (full version) and the background music is called Chilling3 ________________ And for my fellow friends who cannot get the materials .. PRAYING ONE DAY YOU’LL GET YOUR HANDS ON THESE MATERIALS 💞 hope you can get them one day and craft 🥺👉🏼👈🏼

Hey! I’ve been doing shrink plastic crafts for some time now and what I find best is to seal the shrinky dink/ shrink charm (the coloured side) with mod podge or just white glue FIRST, and then with the resin. This seals the design in so the markers don’t smear and makes the resin stick to the shrink plastic charm better. Awesome video btw, Hope this helped 💕:)
