Yes, most people can't have fun cause they want to do fun things but the kingdoms only want people who gain kp and have meta marches, if you don't have any of that they will zero you

you're 100% right, there needs to be another metric to gauge someone's usefulness, something like support points which are gained by buffing/debuffing/tanking for ur kd or something idk.

@ they’re there. Though I know what you mean. Some Kds are crazy strict, particularly higher seed Kds. I’m in a D seed kd where we combine community with competitive nature. If something is working for you, and it’s doing its job in the field, either getting kills or assisting others in getting kills, go for it. Now mind you, running something like a Trajan/phil is a little on the wild side 😂😂😂😂 but if a march is supportive, yet not the craziest in trades (someone with a Phil in their march for example), as long as you’re doing your part, go for it. The more Phil’s in the mb, the better it is for the rest of the dps marches 😎😂😂😂 Just keep me in his aoe 😂😂😂😂😂

Interesting exercise. Have seen this strategy used to push throw zone gates. Having the ability to control location of murder balls would be great for strategy. Instead of brute force. Kingdoms would have to adjust KP expectations.

I actually do this strategy in a way... I have a full T5 Iconic DB archer set, and a leadership archer set. I've had trades where I dive their siege through their ball and still trade almost positive. I don't have a lot of kill points, but I have a lot of fun diving and swarming wherever I can. I feel like it's my responsibility having a full T5 set, but not be a main R/G lead. And can say for certain that zug w/ saj is amazing to help everyone stay on the field longer. Herman works too, for a bit more poison effect to help the team and sense its tanky, his poison really adds up.

Richard with Alex using the Testudo formation works well. Alex speed with Richard slowing the opponents down allows your kingdom to swarm down those chasing your march. Nev/CC in circle could likely work to peel opponents flanks, but I wouldn't use them to charge head on. And I wonder if a Gajah/Matilda tower tank could at least cause a lengthy enough distraction.

@@bradgilbert6718 doing different things is what keeps the game interesting. I prefer to put my debuff/buff/supportive commanders primary, so that the other marches and all my secondaries can gain the benefit of said primaries. Example, I know the thing is Ragnar/scipio. But I’m often pushing the front of the ball, so why not put scipio primary so that I’m debuffing enemy health with my first active skill? Besides, scipio primary is but tankier anyways. Games all about doing what feels good and works for you, not what everyone else thinks you should do. If it works, go for it 😎

To solve puzzle on extra INF march: Pair Constantin Heraclius. Heraclius shielding will proc constantin 4th skill with 40% skill damage reduction. Liu Che is then free and can be paired with with Ceasar or mehmed or Leonidas.

The only mechanic I truly loved in CoD over RoK was the troop combat “stopping mechanic” because my troops or your troops should NOT be able to run through each other. That would automatically break the formation…

Chis, could you do now a "top 5 buffer marches" or "support" marches? I think that would be intresting, cause there's some good buffing commanders, like Mulan, Joan, William (cavalry), Trajan, and Shajar with the support heal I love the fact you did this type of videos cause i would want that people try some new styles of fighting in stead of just have the 3 same thing in the open field making the game so repetitive

I think that in today's meta, tankiness is not shielding but the ability not to be melted by AoE in balls. what helps in that respect is defenc, health or damage mitigation. in that respect, Ragnar/LC is my tankiest march by far because it has 60% defence just from skills. that means that even if you're targeted, you'll still get positive trades because of the damage output

I think that for a tank cav march Arhur ain't it. He just does a lot of things that boost his skill/combo dmg and only has that 20% health, so I'd definetly swap him for nevsky.... as for the other, Saladin 100%. I mean, 20% def/atk, +20% counter atk red, +30% skill dmg red. For being tanky he is the one. The rest is ok, but those 1/2/6 marches could do some work. I'd swap Ragnar P for Phyrrus and either leave out Harald and Scipio P to put Pakal and Richard together or to remove completely the Pakal/Harald combo. Maybe substitute with a Leadership pairing with vanilla Ragnar in it, maybe do something like vanilla Ragnar + Ceasar or do a march with Zhuge Liang and Henry
