I have been using your layout and shaping process for low crown panels for sometime now and it works very well. Thank you for sharing. B

You make it look so easy single handed. A logical layout plan with the peak of curvature central to the markings. Would you use the same markings out and working process if using an English wheel?
@cornfieldcustoms2 ай бұрын
Yes, absolutely. when I was still using the wheel a lot i would lay this out the same way. no matter the process your using the panel like this will always need more stretch in the center vs the outer edge

I would buy the book the moment you release it ! You must be one of the top 5 coachbuilding masterminds in the USA. And this means one of the top 5 in the world. I wonder does a 32 3-door roof has more shape than the 28-29 Model A?
@cornfieldcustomsАй бұрын
@@petar443 yes it has more shape than a 29

Would you use the same hammer pattern on a steel insert? Stainless? Thanks for your answer.
@cornfieldcustoms2 ай бұрын
@@duesenberg1000 yes the material doesnt change the pattern or what needs to happen to achieve the shape, other than hammering hitting harder and taking a little longer
