Watching the replay from central Missouri. I used the heat transfer vinyl in a hoop project. It was a Santa bag purse. The purse had batting and lining. In addition, in the area where I used the vinyl had an extra cotton piece under the vinyl which made it very thick. I found that I had to use the leather needle. Otherwise, it broke the needle. My bag turned out very cute. My vinyl is probably thicker than what you are using. I made these bags last year.
