Fun tip: If you use the mechanism miner , you can set it to destroy the shreakers and it will break them without setting them off, making deep dark exploration trivial , as you can just move it as you go :)

Not sure if it's been changed or removed in the new versions, but the telekinesis spell from Iron's is completely insane if you can time moving them back and forth. Their speed increases exponentially and you can launch them insane distances from my testing.

I found Chain Lightning great for crowd control. For single target damage, Eldritch Blast is probably the best. There is also another Holy spell that buffs your stats. Its great when combined with Charge.

Yeah the holy spell haste combined with charge gives you crazy speed and damage bonuses across the board

Max level legendary Thundercloud and Ball Lightning spells is a crazy fun combo. I just recently captured The Dead King boss in a containment jar for my Drygmy Farm, now it drops many copies of its staff along with Epic/Legendary scrolls of any School and Legendary Ink. lol

21:11 an easy way to get back here if you die is, /back. not sure what mod it is, but any time you can do the /sethome command, /back is part of that same mod. also if you don't know, after using /sethome, just use /home to get back to that spot. and then after using /home (or after dying), you can use /back to get back to the spot you were in beforehand. incredibly great for exploring.

I typically never use the home commands. I like to use methods that are not server utilities.

You should also try replacing firefly swarm with blackhole which is the previous Best offense spell

28:33 The constellation that you have to draw resembles the item. You can usually get it nearly right and use a hint or two to finish, I just started nailing them after going through a couple of my first relic researches, pretty funny Edit: another helpful hint - you can try to draw a line from some point, and if the line doesn't want to get drawn, that point already has all the lines it should have (they still can be wrong). Useful to deduce the amount of lines going from each point Edit 2: there is a very easy way to get all these relics to maximum level quickly. You can get the universal attractor (magnet relic), fill your inventory with random items and drop a lot of other items on the ground, up until you stop attracting the extra items. As long as you cannot pick them up, universal attractor will get xp from working on hundreds of items at once, and with that all other relics in your slots and your inventory also get a part of that xp. Pretty useful to quickly level up a relic when the main xp source for it is too miserable to farm

They really should have made a unified mana system like they had to for unified power systems before forge energy existed where every mod was something different until RF kind of became a standard and later forge energy

Enchanting with higher level also increases mana regen and mana capacity for iron spells with the mana enchantments

Fun fact, with enough upgrade you can keep casting Shield and use it as a floating bridge

My fav spells are black hole and tentacles. Idk about this new version, but every time i play i make this combo. When you summon the black hole and then the tentacles, the black hole sucks the tentacles and makes a giant black hole with tentacles poping out of it from all sides!

I feel like dash would be a good Ars spell to use against the warden, if you snare it, then dash to avoid the blasts, you would probably be fine

I guess its just my own playstyle, but with trinkets/baubles/curios I always increase the number of slots I can use, most commonly I crank it up with commands to 10 ring slots, like 2 or 3 necklace slots, 2 belt slots, and I add a few others depending on what the curio is, like you should obviously be able to wear NV goggles with a gas mask and a hat, and certain kinds of gloves should be able to be worn together like a glove slot bangle, a fire glove and a mining claw, that kind of thing. I just use natural logic instead of RPG/fantasy logic and adjust things accordingly, I'm not someone who does any serious playthrough rather than just build and play until I grow bored XD

For the night vision goggle I used exp to randomize the yellow dots to max 5 and then had to use them in the dark to level up to get better gamma look, I do hate the green as well tbh but I also don't wanna cast the ars spell again and again 😅 At least it's toggleable (in the pack the keybind for it doesn't seem to work but left alt to bring up artifact abilities then click works)

I really want to see a pack that has integration between magic mods, integration between tech mods, and integration mods that act as bridges between magic and tech (such as being able to use Create to make Blood Magic Runes in bulk or Ars crafting to make souped-up machine upgrades).

Hey Chosen i have a question to ask you?… Can you put on enchantments and gem sockets on both of yours wizard armors from the "Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks" & "Ars Nouveau" mods with the "Apotheosis" mod enchantments and gem sockets. Because if you can, then your wizard armors will really be max out enchanted…

I think you are mistaking this with ATM9 Apoth in this version doesnt have gem sockets andI havent seen a enchantment that looks like it rolls anything for Iron's

One thing I found with many of the relics/artifacts was many had "active" abilities you need to constantly toggle on or activate which makes them very awkward compared to some of the passive effects you can get from stuff like the iron spells etc. curios. Its a shame because theres a lot of neat effects from the artifacts/relics, but combined with iron spells, ars spells, and all the QoL keys for the countless other mods, they often conflict and feel more like trying to play a bad/clunky mmo instead of a minecraft mod when compared to ars/iron spells.

you can add iron spells armor upgrades can go on any armor iirc so while its nowhere near the amount of mana you can get on armor you can get a extra 100 mana on ars armor or do cooldown reduction if you don't need more than the 400 mana from the upgrades and better books like the codex that also give cooldown.
