Thanks for the video and nice T110, BTW. The red paint really pops. I use NuFinish to keep it red as long as possible. It's easy to apply and hand buff. I installed a fuel shut off valve to save draining fuel every winter. Turns out I have to keep the battery charged so I don't even use the shut off valve. Cranking and idling for one minute, (once every two weeks) keeps the battery and the carburetor happy all winter long. Summer starts are effortless. The battery for this mower ranges from $50, to $100, depending where you buy. At this price it actually pays to get an inexpensive smart charger with a "repair" cycle. They don't fix dead batteries but do make good ones last longer.

The manual says to drain the oil thru the fill tube...sounds ridiculous, so I removed the drain plug instead of draining the gas tank & tipping the mower over...started it up after changing the spark plug and oil...ran fine. Went to mow the lawn today, and the engine seized! Plenty of oil...mower is 4 years old..fuck Craftsman..I just bought a John Deere!

It's not necessary to remove the spark plug. That's a lawyer thing for liability purposes. No plug nothing moves. You know somebody, somewhere is going to attempt a repair and do something stupid that costs them a hand. Having that in the manual covers the manufacturers ass.
