Might by detached flywheel magnets catching on the stator supports inside the flywheel preventing full revolution. I'd pull the flywheel to check. Fun to watch your process. 🙂

I had a Briggs 14.5hp that would turn about 180 degrees. I took the head off and found that exhaust valve had broken off the actual valve part. Piston was scarred but, not punctured or cracked. I replaced the exhaust valve and it's still running 7 years later.

Had mower like that was good little thing until oil drain plug vibrated out unknowingly while mowing then yeah locked up ding dang it 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

it's hydro locked because of that Nikki carburetor 😡

Oil level checked good and I had the spark plug removed, may be the cam or something I believe

@@TomDobyMowerRepair it's a miracle that the oil is not contaminated with gas I had to replace a Nikki carburetor on my craftsman ys mower The poulan XT mower was full of gas in the oil causing it to be hydro locked i must remember to cut the fuel line shut off valve in order to keep it from happing again . lucky My craftsman gt tractor has not had any gas. In the oil because it is powered by a Kohler pro twin cylinder 22 horsepower with the hydraulic lifter s .😎💯✅
