@@Prod.Lavurestill have this deepening despair that comes up when I think of my oldest and happiest memories. The older I get the more I realize that nostalgia is mourning of the past. My grandma was alive 10 years ago. in 2020 I would never have thought she would pass away 4 years later. My cats died years ago. The world has drastically changed. I never thought the people that took care of me would become so old and detached to everything around them. If it wasn’t for my wife and soon to be children I think I’d go insane over the loss. I feel like a stranger in my old home, I feel as time goes on the less mentally stable I become. Each passing moment torments me and I find only a suffocating solace in my memory that burn and scorch my mind. I feel both empty and full of potential and hope. Jesus is the only thing now that breathes life into my hollow shell of what once was human.

Nostalgia is a funny thing, isn’t it. I have very fond memories playing on a large Minecraft server with friends many years ago. I played Minecraft shortly after it first came out and played it religiously until about 2015 or so. Then life started to speed up. I finished university, got my first “real” job and had less and less time for Minecraft. The server population went from its steady 100 or so people on each night to 50, then 20 and then maybe 5 or so people. Eventually the local host decided they would call time. We had one big final night, a huge send off and the morning after everyone had until midday to get their things sorted, take snapshots, blow stuff up and just generally muck around. And then at 11.59am, the server shut down forever. I think a lot of people saw it as a really nice closing chapter to their time not just on the server but with Minecraft more generally. Sure a lot of people just went and played elsewhere and for a few months they’d run across eachother on different servers but eventually that all dried up too. For me, life was calling. I travelled, got engaged and bought a house. I never opened Minecraft again after that wonderful night of community in 2015. Nothing Minecraft has to offer could (for me) surpass that amazing final night, where hundreds of people including some who had already stopped playing came back to celebrate the community, the server and hang out for one last time. I don’t want to go back to those days. I feel nostalgia for them but I’m much more excited for the future. I am however really really grateful for my experience and memories of Minecraft. 2010 to 2015 was a magical time for online communities and servers. I’m sure people today and the game as it appears now look and play much differently. That’s a good thing - I’d hate for the game to have been stuck in one place. Other people are just now (I hope) having those same experiences I was lucky to have. For me, my time in Minecraft is finished. For others however, the adventure is just beginning. Go well and think about your fellow player - they aren’t so different to you :)

Minecraft was there since I was 10-11, it was my therapy back when I was 13 and my parents broke up. It held my hand all the way from middle school, high school and even played it with my roommates in college, especially when the pandemic hit us. I hope my future children will have the same fond, beautiful memories with this game, just like I did. Thank you Minecraft for helping me become who I am today. I will never forget you and you will be forever in my heart, my favorite game.

oh yeah me and my mate did this too! We rebuilt the whole village with modern housing estate. I initially made a temporary shelter for villagers because demolition was required. When first 8 houses were completed, they were ready to move in. Some portion of the old village was sunk to make way for the water traffic. The roads were properly paved with street lamps. A big fountain was placed where the old village well once stood. Despite the demolition, some structures like village tower survived for further preservation. I don’t think I’ll ever forget how proud I was at this. It was a really fun time. I love every second I invested in this!

I remember when the pillager update came out I found a village and I made a giant tower like a hotel for them. I also built walls to protect them from the raids. Wow I miss those times. And no I don’t want to talk about the iron golem I had hanging up above the end portal.

I remember back when Minecraft videos were first starting to release, circa 2011? There was just a handful of them, no Yogscast or anything. I remember watching one particular let's play that had no commentary. I found the world so wonderful, so magical. Their small little cave-base in a snowy mountain. They dug down, creating a staircase until they found what were big cave systems back then. It was such an unexplored game, I remember thinking anything was possible in it and found so much wonder in just being there.

I once suffered a terrible tragedy and couldn't sleep for days. I would wake the second sleep came. Almost a full week went by before I passed out from sheer exhaustion. I dreamt I met myself as a child. I stood there feeling like a movie monster, covered in scars, unable to stand straight like I used to, but me being me, the child me invited me to sit and relax. I started to cry because I wanted to go back so badly it hurt to look at him. He put his hand on my shoulder and told me that I cant go back. No one can. But I can visit from time to time. We sat in the dream and watched the sunset turn to night and the stars come out. I woke after 14 hours and I felt like I had turned a corner. Not healed, but like I had a foothold. The first notes of this video put me right back in that quiet place. Sitting with myself and knowing that things can and will get better.

The feeling of wandering through a forest biome on the Xbox 360 edition...where it isn't supposed to snow but due to an update the biome technically changed to taiga so it does. Xbox 360 Minecraft was the best. Had the best performance, community, and developer behind it. No one can change my mind on that.

I played it looong long time ago, before all the story modes. I'm not even sure how it looks like now. I had my worlds damaged two or free time because of some technical issue I never been able to figure out. Last time it happened, starting new world wasn't interesting anymore. i really want to go back, i know no one who knows me will be here... but i just want to say that i miss the past, and i know there's no getting it back but these videos just make me feel something i don't really remember but there's this nostalgia that i can't quite piece. it's distressing but i actually lbutike just sitting here listening to the music and thinking about everything. Minecraft is a really nostalgic game for me. But even though I hop on every now and again, it's just not quite the same. Everything is too easy. I miss the old times, when i would hop on and play with my friends, building contests, lore, houses, running away from mobs at night time and giggling over a voice call. Times were simpler back then. Now i have so much to do and there isn't enough time anymore. Even my favourite Minecraft youtubers have stopped posting as of right now. I can't think about what's gonna happen in the future because I miss the past too much now. It's depressing but there are more important things to think about in life right now. Well, I'd better go. I have some drama homework for some project I have to hand in on wednesday and I have a 4x400 relay race tomorrow with people from my school. I have to promise myself it's gonna be alright. It's gonna be fine :)

The memories to this game I will hold dear and near my heart for my whole life. Time and time again I come back to these videos just to hit me in the feels. Nostagia kicking in. Good times. I'm happy i could experience this game from nearly the beginning and see the progress throughout the years. It's been 12 years since i first started, time flies. The first session is still vivid in my memory. Without C418 this game would not have been the same.

Minecraft music will always remind me back to when I first got my 360 for my birthday. Summer came around and I added my friend from school, thus started my introduction to minecraft. I will never forget that feeling of joining a xbox live party, joining his world and feeling the excitement of someone else flying toward me in the game. Those memories I made playing this game will never be forgotten. from the laughs then on, and the memories I made with my friends in multiple parties, multiple games from minecraft to castle crashers, doritos crash course to SSX, Castle Miners Z to battleblock theaters, modern warfare to black ops 2, these memories will forever be with me and I'm truly lucky to have experienced this alongside so many other people. :)

Time really flies fast, I'm 31 now. I started Minecraft when I was 18 so i still saw some oh the golden days. I am a different person now than when i was back then but transformation really hurts, life really is about suffering after all but we have to learn to carry that weight.

Takes me back to when I was in Elementary School. Me and my friend would play the tutorial world on the PS3, and we were always too scared to leave the walls. We built a tree house, but because we kept getting rid of leaves and wood, we'd have to constantly race to repair the treehouse as leaves disappeared. When we finally worked up the courage to leave, we basically just stayed in an overhang near the walls with a few torches. We'd always go back to the walls to see how deteriorated our treehouse has become. We also thought, for the longest time, that flint was coal. Now I'm in my third year of college. I sometimes play Minecraft on my computer, but my PS3 doesn't work as well anymore. Probably for the best... after a while, Minecraft makes my eyes hurt now.

Hey. Sometimes i think about the good moments with minecraft. Like being taught how to play by my cousins when i was 8. I played with my brothers so often we watched every update slowly progress. I remember running down the halls with my friends to be the first ones in the computer lab to play cracked minecraft. And just having an absolute blast playing with friends. Or the exes i played with and watched minecraft videos with. The amount of people this game brings together is powerful. We have a world full of blocky potential. And here we have a lot of weird, happy, sad, reminiscent thoughts and feelings with life. Well. All of you out there. Maybe we played together on a server once. Or just that we have minecraft in common. I love you and hope for the best.

I remember the first time i played minecraft. We didn't have a good enough computer to run minecraft back then, but I knew nothing about that. After a little while, waiting to load the world, I spawned in a snowy biome. I was so excited to finally be able to play that game everyone was suddenly talking about. I remember on new years in 2013 my cousins and I watched herobrine videos on KZbin and got insanely scared xD I can’t believe that was 14 years ago… I have so many great memories playing Minecraft, sometimes on my own, sometimes with my best friend, and sometimes with my cousins. I even had a world with my dad we would sometimes play and I just miss those times, it’s an almost unbearable feeling when you realise you can never go back to times in the past, I am at least happy I have such great memories though

I will never forget the almost 10 years of Minecraft playing experience i made from 2011 till 2020.. best times of my life.. is sad that i couldnt keep my main fantasy world "The Crazy Germania and "USA Alaska" i build so much stuff there realated to the Internet Minecraft Community from the 2010s and my own ideas like building a big village of my own, is sad that my pc died with all the progress i made on these wolrds..😥 may my fantasy world "The Crazy Germania" and "USA Alaska" rest in heaven by gods hands in my own paradise. Years later in 2023 my father told claudia a frined from me he is impressed and proud of what i builded from 2013 - 2020 on these both worlds.. this left me speechles and happy and sad cuz my father created "the crazy germania" for me as i was a kid and thats why this one world was my number one, my father was a important symbol to me and one person i really loved and cared about in the family, we Understand till today very well with eachother and im happy how my journey in Minecraft evolved and played out, thats why i love Minecraft and will always keep this game in my heart and memories.. Minecraft taugh me many things, starting from Happiness, joy, determination, inspiration, courage, bravery - To fear, sadness, hate and other feelings. Many players i met while playing Online.... Each one taugh me something that i learned by watching their actions, Minecraft was the first Game that made me feel Real emotions along the the years and this is no joke.
