I had friends and family tell me vintage comic books weren't a good investment but I went ahead and collected them anyway. Today, my comic book collection is worth well into six figures. Good thing I ignored everyone and did it anyway!

My mom had all the first issue comics. She was born in 1938, and said my grandmother had thrown them all away, because they were for children, not adults... Can you imagine? And my mom took exceptional care of any books or comics she kept.

In the early, mid to late '70's.. My mother and father refused to buy a new car. So, she would buy used ones really cheap. Like $800 cheap and not even service them. Just drive them till they died.... Like; Olds 442, '65 Impala SS, a Yellow '70 351 Mach 1, Buick Skylark GSK in yellow, Mercury Marauder. Both of them had their own cars. Hell, my dad had a '65 Shelby GT350 Mustang and sold it for $1,200. Because it needed some engine work... My Family I.Q level is low, I'll leave at that.... 😢

They're still bad investments. You can flip.some new hyped up cars right away and maybe double your money. But to be an actual investment requires you hanging onto a worthy car for 40 years. Storing it, keeping it maintained. There are smarter ways to invest 50k to have much more 50 years later.

Some collector's items do totally lose their value after a while. Music records of the 33 version lost their value. They fell like a rock. I don't know if the cars will do the same. I know I would much rather have today's cars that these old 60s and 70s cars.

Eventually, the value of these muscle cars are going to drop like a stone over the next 20-25 years. The serious buyers who have a passion for these cars are going away due to age. Furthermore, tastes have changed. I watched the last Barrett-Jackson in Arizona on TV; classic restored MOPARS which used to be a lock for six figures were going for way under $100K. However, people were paying beaucoup bucks for customized Bronco’s and K-5 Blazers. It was insane.

Instead find a financial advisor who's been at it for quite a few year's ☆ and takes pride in doing so * I've done this myself, long story short ☆ I made more money than I ever would have if I had bought these older cars and stored them as an investor 😊 * keep in mind, I'm a car inthusiest,, big time 😊
