the body lock counter was very smooth and not something ive seen much of before i can see they have been training this. it looks similar to a yoko sumi gaeshi but im not sure. i know craig was using that with volk and he used it standing against islam. would love too see a video on both

They’re at two different points in their career. Nicky is a brown belt still competing and has to keep his edge. MJ, Kobe mentality. Craig is the world class black belt head and shoulders better then almost everyone in the world. But not as active competitively. You’re not wrong, but neither is Nicky Rod for staying on smash mode.

Craig doesn't owe Gordon anything after the DDS split, he can train with whoever he pleases. Unlike Gordon, Craig is mature socially and doesn't have that childish " if you are not my friend you are my enemy" type of mindset. That's why people love Craig more than Gordon (even Gordon's own brother). Not everything is black and white.
