Wow! Craig, those swings at the beginning of the video are dangerously pretty! Releasing underneath! Two or Three weeks into stumbling upon and joining your channel and I have shot the lowest score on an 18 hole course in 48 years of playing! 3 Over! And I picked up an unnecessary bogey on 17 as I already had the competition in the 3-ball well beat, so stupidly took my foot off the pedal on a par 4 which I more often than not birdie!! I'm sure that I wasn't doing the things you advocate, all that well! But the result! Wonderful! I've gone back over my playlist of your videos saved to reinforce the nuggets or learn things I did not pick up the first time around! And a few things have stood out! In the downswing, Head back of the ball, right shoulder down and underneath with hands released and arms extended in front! And when the angles are stored from the top of the backswing with the right wrist bent back, shallow the club as advocated in this video or otherwise, shift weight and release the hand underneath, like yourself! I might like Adam Scott's swing not unlike of million others. But I love yours! I hope it works for me! Being able to hit the ball straight with power will remove so much stress and angst from the game! Not asking for much, eh! Thanks so much Craig! I'm excited! That's 77 and 73 over the course of three days on a Par 70! What next! Will keep you posted!

Odd question I know but you are left eye dominant correct?
@CraigHansonGolf3 жыл бұрын
No I’m actually right eye dominant ...
@nelsonjames12723 жыл бұрын
@@CraigHansonGolf strange, you have the setup characteristics of a left eye dominant player. I would then guess that you write with you right hand correct?
@CraigHansonGolf3 жыл бұрын
As a right handed golfer it’s probably a fair guess to assume that I write ✍️ right handed. I remember the countless conversations on tour with pros and people talking about dominating eye 👁 it seriously never helped me at all or made sense.
@nelsonjames12723 жыл бұрын
@@CraigHansonGolf of course you are right handed but I thought there might be the outside chance that you might not be. I do varying things right handed and left handed and just thought you might be one of these rare breeds. Sorry to bother you.

What exactly do you mean by "gets you underneath that hip joint"? Gets what underneath what hip joint? Thanks!
@CraigHansonGolf3 жыл бұрын
The right elbow can get underneath the top part of the hip bone. Lowering the right hip and getting the correct pelvis side bend. 10-17 degrees is the tour average. The right hip is not high at impact coming into the ball... A lot of players that block the ball get stuck or flip it have the pelvis side bend around 3,4,5 degrees at impact. This is not talked about on KZbin because the most of information on the swing is created by muppets who don’t really know what’s going on but they have a camera... most don’t show their swings because they can’t hit it..

@@CraigHansonGolf Thanks! It appears to me that the pelvis side bend is more a result of a rising left hip than a lowering of the right hip. Fleetwood's right hip moves forward (toward the target) but appears to stay the same distance from the ground. Am I seeing this correctly? Thanks again.
