you guys totally missed WHY people are saying Elon cheated for PoE2... Its not because it would be time consuming or hard, that has NOTHING to do with it. Its because any of us that know the game can watch his first stream playing and saw he had NO IDEA how to play the game. He didn't understand basic fundamentals you learn in the tutorial. He had maybe played the game a couple hours, then someone else made the whole account for him. I have seen no evidence he has done this in any other game, but watching him play PoE2 it was 100% no possible way he got to where he was without knowing how the game worked.

I will only buy the Switch 2 on release IF there is an OLED option, otherwise I'll wait. I'd love to see the mouse feature opening the door to porting RTSs like Dawn of War and RPGs like Pathfinder. The Switch has become my personal nostalgia machine with all the 3rd party remasters and collections of my childhood favourites. Physical copies only, I'm not making that mistake again.

I'm happy that the malls here in Iowa are all still very active. I still enjoy going to the mall to eat, shop, and just chill. If anyone is ever in the area and you like malls Jordan Creek Mall is a great mall to visit. Valley West Mall also used to be great when I was little but after Jordan Creek was built Valley West really started to go downhill. They had a great jingle that invokes a sense of nostalgia for me.

Also, that means there's a female connection on the Joycon that will get full of dirt and crap. EDIT: They should have shown that Switch 2 would at least be 1080p. Wasn't the Switch only 720p (like Side Scrollers)?

I’m thinking of passing on Switch 2 and just focusing on older games. I have a feeling though there will be a sequel to Mario wonder or Odyssey that will make me change my mind. Maybe a new Smash, but I don’t see it topping Ultimate. It’d have to be something unique like maybe a more focused line up (all Nintendo or Nintendo vs one company). A story mode like Sub Space Embassy would be nice. That mode seemed to get a little redundant, but if they can find a way to make it as fun as all the new beat ‘em ups we are getting, they might have something. In my wildest dreams I’d like to see lost franchises return like Punch out or Earthbound. In even wilder dreams Nintendo buys the Rare ips from Microsoft and finds people that want to actually do something with them. Most likely a new Mario would probably be the game to draw me in.

Last Nintendo console I ever bought was the GameCube. Nothing they've done since was for me. I was never interested in the Wii and its weird controls and I didn't get a Switch, because don't need the mobility. I'm not paying for a built in screen that I'll never use. I want a new pure home console from Nintendo with a real controller(that can work wired and comes with a cable long enough to be useful for more than just charging the battery)! Or they could just start bringing their games to PC, because I don't buy a fricking console for the 2-3 games I actually want to play!

The hardware is fine for what it sets out to do. Yeah ports can be really shotty but playing their mainline games I have never thought it dragged graphically or generally performance.

Here's my argument against Nintendo releasing a majorly powerful console with specs on par with the PS5: The Wii was highly successful. It was the 6th best selling console of all time. But do you know what was released around the same console generation, and beat it in sales? The Nintendo DS, the 2nd selling console of all time. Console by technical definition, we would call it a handheld. And that's the thing. The Nintendo Switch isn't a console. It's a handheld... that can be docked connected to a big screen. Nintendo effectively abandoned the console market and only makes dockable handhelds. Nintendo knows exactly what they are doing.

I think of nintendo as having become the Disney of the video game market; they have their own flavor of game and we play them specifically for that flavor. That and I'm pretty sure most people will introduce their children to those games as well, making nintendo a generational experience, like Disney. It got leaked that Switch 2 is using Ampere architecture (Nvidia RTX 30 series). This MEANS A MASSIVE UPGRADE from Haswell architecture that the Switch has. I think we are going to have something between PS4 and PS5 in terms of performance. Which really I don't care. I've played the last indiana jones with my RTX 2060 Super and it felt great. Nintendo finally is taking a great jump in terms of performance. If everything turns right, I will upgrade it after a couple of months.
