@714thegooch10 ай бұрын
@@neftalidveliz951 Which means the frame has to be cut ( chopper) and raked or extended forward like you said, but if the front wasn't cut it's not a chopper. Just a factory frame. Also the type of handlebars has nothing to do with it being a chopper. You can build a chopper and put drag bars on it, it's still a chopper.

What do you think? Good or Bad purchase for the 2010 Honda Fury Chopper?
@mathewkendell90565 жыл бұрын
$4000 is a good buy. For the right bike in the right condition. I've regretted buying a lot more motorcycles than I have regretted not buying. I think you made the right call. If it just doesn't feel right for some reason walk. That's my rule of thumb. Honesty I have shown up to look at motorcycles before that damage wasn't disclosed (even when asked before coming) or damage was grossly misrepresented and I take one look thank the person for their time and leave.
@lucasmorgan30285 жыл бұрын
just recently purchased a Fury that has been built out pretty good and paid 9 for it so $4000 is a good deal.

11k on the clock and all the damage? Maybe offer $3,000 and see where it goes? Pristine, low mileage Fury’s listed for as much as $8k here in Florida, in a market saturated with bikes
@jholton36894 жыл бұрын
He stole the first bike doubtful he steels another one. $4k is fair in the condition it is in. There going for $5600 to 8k used in various conditions in my area. $1600 minimum savings you could customize the bike and fix the little scratches and dings easily with that savings.

Another great video, I'm looking for a 2015 Fury ABS. What should be a fair price for that in a good condition? Will appreciate the valuable opinion
@JonsMotoGarage5 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm...I'm like a dealership. Lol. I low ball the value on everything, but I'll try my best. Hahahaha. I always start by checking kbb (based on your zip code). If you can get it for close to trade in, that's usually a really good deal. Also, when I buy a bike that I'm keeping for personal use, I don't mind paying a bit on the high side as long as the value is there (has all the extra goodies you're looking for, recent maintenance, doesn't need any immediate money dumped into it). In the long run, an extra $500 won't make a big difference if you're getting a lot of use out of the bike. Also, if you're gonna put a lot of miles on it then of course try to get one with as low mileage as possible. I'm probably preaching to the choir here. Lol. Anyway, as far as value/price, anywhere from $6k - $7500 seems like it'd be in the range. Tack on a bit extra if you're going through a dealer of course. I've seen a few outliers in my area for as low as $5500 w/between 5k-10k miles. Not sure if those had abs though. And of course if you go back to the older models (2010 - 2012), you can sometimes get lucky and fetch em up for $4500 - $5500 range. The best bike to get is from the original owner who put like 1k miles on it and then basically decided it's not for them. Thanks for watching and commenting! Happy hunting and ride safe!

@@JonsMotoGarage hey thanks for such a detailed and a quick reply, I'm upgrading from my suzuki gsx250, though i love the looks of Stryker but I'm leaning more towards a Fury cuz the Stryker doesn't come with abs. Also I don't think there is any other cruiser in this price range which comes with an abs. I think fury fits the bill.

@JonsMotoGarage5 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! I think between the two it comes down to personal preference. Of course you can look into shaft vs belt drive, air cooled vs liquid, etc. But the reality is for your avg rider, none of that will make a big difference in the big scheme of things. Both should be pretty solid choices. I'd be happy riding either. Sometimes having options makes the decision a lot harder. Lol. Let me know what you ultimately decide on! Ride safe!

Super light, compared to Harley’s factory chopper, the Rocker C. Water cooled is a plus. Shaft drive is a little tricky at first as the rotation of the shaft will pull you that direction a little. No big deal once you get used to it. I think the Fury is a home run from Honda and this from a Harley guy 👍

What is a stage 1 kit?
@partlycloudy94435 ай бұрын
@@blackrockbrewing5141 A stage 1 kit is 3 add on parts. 1. a fuel processor which allows you to adjust fuel air mixture. 2. a larger air intake system for more air into the fuel mixture. 3. A free flow exhaust system, so the exhaust flows out quicker. Most factory bikes run very lean fuel mixtures and very restrictive exhaust to pass emission testing, basically they cork up the motor and that weakens the motors power output. A stage 1 kit uncorks the motor and makes a huge difference in power and torque.
