Future Vulcan S guy here. I don't know what you're talking about, Shammie Pubes. The S sounds great (exploding money always sounds good). It is also hilarious that you mention that Vulcan S guys are destined for the Versys 650 because I was looking at that as my second bike. What can I say? Kawasaki offers a lot of bang for the buck and the bikes offer the right amount of tech and gadgets. Also, I recently asked a female friend of mine which she would rather ride on the back of: a Vulcan S or an M50, and she said the Vulcan, so chalk one up for us. Also, the Dodge Charger has never been offered with a four-cylinder engine. The SE is lame, but the GT is not, and that comes with a V6.

My favorite cruiser of all time was my '87 Suzuki Intruder 750. It had the chrome package, custom paint (white ghost flames on orange) and aftermarket exhaust. I can't count how many times people asked if it was a Harley. Sold it to help pay for the wedding (bad move, getting divorced now). Had an '05 Intruder 1400 but was not comfortable on it with my 32" inseam. I've wanted a Fury since I first saw one and IF I ever get another cruiser, it might be a Fury or another Intruder. My interest has shifted though... looking to do some trail riding on a TW200. Street gets boring, and there are so many idiot drivers on the road.

Yamaha should have never dropped the Raider. The Bolt needs more displacement (at least 1300 ccs) and possibly engine counterbalancers (like the Raider) and a six-speed gearbox. Styling-wise, the Bolt has it cinched! I've been building and riding choppers, rest-os, dressers, and drag bikes since the late 1960s. I still don't have any tats or body metal -- I've got enough scar tissue. In 1969, I knew Honda 750s would be chopper material down the road. Back in 1970, guys like Tony Carlini built some bruisin' and rideable choppers out of CB 750s.

On a serious note I kinda understand it because Harley need to come out with more modern bikes if they don't wanna go under, but what I really am annoyed about is the circlejerking. Apparently if you say anything good about Harley online, mods of motorcycle forums will erase anything you've posted or commented and then ban you for life. Or, people will try to prevent you from getting into motorcycles and tell you that you shouldn't be riding because saying good things about Harley is "unorthodox". No one in my family has ever ridden motorcycles before. I currently ride a Tiger 900 Rally Pro.
