You do some of the best diy tutorials for women on KZbin, I wish you did more. You and I have the same style and style time line lol, as I'm getting older I'm moving more toward an organic look and away from my barbie bling. I've followed you for close to 2yrs?maybe? Something like that and I've gone back and watched your older videos and laugh because we seem to have mellowed out in unison. Anyway great diys, I'm redoing a thrift store dresser and my room is a serene sea blue, several shades of aqua and lots and lots of white with a tiny splash of bright light green. (Sounds weird but it really works & I love it)...now what to do with this dresser. ...

You are so lucky to have a husband who is so cooperative and helpful. It's so hard for me to get anything done in our home. It's a fairly big home and is in need of some work. Also I would love some new paint on the walls. He thinks I should be able to declutter the house by myself and I've had five major abdominal surgeries, one just a few months ago. He isn't all bad though as he has always be a good provider and there for me in many other ways. It's just when it comes to the house maintenance or some changes he just doesn't care. He has a stressful job so sometimes I just have to let it go!😢 Sorry I should be congratulating you on a job well done. I know this was several years ago but I could watch your videos over and over again. You truly are a very talented woman!

Christine, I just discovered your videos today and I have enjoyed them so much. I just painted my first dresser two weeks ago (a small, cheap, junky dresser from Craigslist that probably should have been thrown away but was excellent for learning on) and today I will start a second, larger project: a queen-size bed, dresser, mirror and night stand. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew :). Your videos are so helpful and I love this little dresser - I wish I could find one just like it to redo. I'm off to watch more of your make-overs….

Wow Christine...just when I think you can't outdo yourself you always prove me wrong :). This is the best DIY so far. You should send the pictures to the old owners who sold it to you. They will be shocked...they probably won't believe it's the same piece!!

I love your furniture makeovers. This spring I need to makeover my dresser. I've had it since I was a child. I can't remember NOT using it. It's been from Michigan (6 homes at least by 19) to California (another 6 moves) and back to Michigan (8 so far)...a total of 20 moves without changing a thing!! It's time for a change. It's a nice piece but you can tell it is 40+ years old. And, my daughter stamped my name all over it at the base when she was 4...she had my name stamp that I needed to use for work. I guess it's time to get rid of that...almost 30 years later. Thanks for the ideas!!

I feel assured to see that you stacked furniture onto the cubed storage behind you. I just did the same thing to create an entertainment center out of. A build it yourself kitchen counter with a drawer. It was was large enough to hold my electricals and television, yet small enough to fit in my studio, but it needed some height, so a used a double cube and placed horizontally to get extra storage and my "entertainment center up a foot. Now I'm trying to paint them a matching color. Thankfully yours were both white!

Im currently doing up a huge TV unit. It has a solid base about 4 times the size of your little dresser and a top with glass doors. Im finally finished with all the sanding (thank god) and I'm planning to paint it this weekend. It was a scuffed up plain pine unit and I picked it up for $15 on Ebay, an absolute bargain and I'm painting in a distressed white. I want it to have a french chubby chic look. I have also got panels that I'm inserting in the back of the top unit so it is seen thru the glass, that has been dresses in a moroccan looking fabric. That way when I get tired of it I can just take them out and redress them and the unit will have a completely different feel. Just love your DIY and your gardening videos. Cant wait to see an update :)
