Some days you just have to chuckle at the hustlers. They work so hard for $10. TIP: Find TarnX liquid at grocery store. Use gloves and well ventilated area. That tarnish will wipe right off. Wash and rinse well and dry with towel. Also works on most other metals and jewelry too. Follow caution directions on label.

Always getting my Hustle on. Now I am stepping up my game. I just picked up a 2000 Dodge Neon and a parts car for it. Got the pair super cheap (way less then scrap prices) So I will fix the one good one up with the parts from the other. Sell off other parts, and I should be able to pocket $2500 when all is said and done. (BTW my day job is being an auto mechanic so I got the labor covered to) There is money out there to be made. Just gotta go after it.

If I still collected dolls, too old now and SS doesn't allow for buying memories. I believe the soldier doll someone made for a child during WWII. Looks so much like the posters of Dough Boys. It is a little treasure. I am 73 and remember seeing grandmothers dolls she made during the depression. I wonder if it could have been a mail order pattern. Have you sold it? Does it have a label or look homemade. Would be wonderful on a Veteran items display. I really enjoy your videos. They bring back memories and also tell me how much some of my things might be worth. Keep up the good work bringing things to a new home. Why are you polishing that silver, the dirtier it is the more it is worth nowdays. LOL

Pete love the videos. as for all that silver you have to clean try a big plastic tub seven layers of aluminum foil in the bottom with holes so it doesn't float shiny side down. add enough boiling water to cover whatever silver you have in it. don't let the silver touch each other then add baking soda it will clean the silver for you

I sold two hair straightening flat irons, they went for more money than I listed em at, so i think it was auction. I dont know how to mark the item as shipped; and when I tried sending the tracking number to the buyer in a message the site crashed... eBay is VERY new to me. I believe i have the notifications on now, kinda a rough road. K
@theguywhorarelylies54547 жыл бұрын
Usually the buyer will pay for the item immediately. And you will click "Sell" And then click "Orders" And anything that has been paid will be sitting there waiting for you in the "Awaiting shipping section" to print a shipping label. Once the shipping label is printed and paid (Which it will automatically pay for shipping out of your paypal account) The customer automatically has access to the tracking number. No need to send them anything unless you want to send them a thank you and mention the tracking number should be available to them if they go and look for it.

He prob was not high. He looked more like he was neuro-diverse in some way. Possibly autistic. He was showing a lot of traits on the spectrum. A lot of autistic people get into thrifting and collecting because a lot of us become interested/obsessed with odd weird things, and the next step from that is flipping stuff. Both my best friend and I are autistic and loving thrifting and collecting weird stuff and reselling it. I have a pretty sizable VHS collection, among other things. When we were out today there was a far more obviously autistic guy hovering around the VHS just after I finished picking through them and was digging through the kids books for old 70s and 80s books (found some MASK and GoBot story books, was a score.) Half the time I go to a local thrift store there is someone, usually around the VHS or other old media, sometimes toys or electronics. Also ran into the mother of an adult autistic child who couldn't look after himself. She was picking tapes for him. My friend's autistic son collects coins and dice because he likes to sort and count them and she picks loads of action figures and dinosaurs and Godzilla stuff or him (he is obsessed with Godzilla.) It both fulfills many autistic impulses and coping mechanisms as well as proving an avenue for social interaction where we may normally find it difficult.

One word. Gluton. Be careful what you buy. Never before in the history of antiques/new old stock & just general merchandise for resale has so much hit the market so fast. There is a gluton of just about everything now. Items that once sold high now tank. Look at it this way. If all of this were silver the market would be over saturated causing prices of a once prized commodity to plummet. This is what's happening to 100's if not 1000's of items or categories. When there's too much of anything compounded by all of it being sold at the same time it becomes a BUYERS market driving prices downward.When people stop buying those items or buying it so you can make a profit and I don't mean 5 bucks, there's no way to go but down. It's simple math. It's also why many antiques that once sold high have crashed.
