4:42 man i would love all those machinist tools and inspection equipment but I'm not paying his price. the end mills that he was saying were 50 bucks, once they are used, they lose 90 percent their value to the end user, but a shop with a tooling guy can sharpen them back up and make them like new.

That's a micrometer table for an optical comparator. Image of the machined part is projected on a screen and the technician can measure the dimensions in the enlarged image.

This guy talked WAYYY too much ! He knew they were coming should of had prices in mind to give them . Too much personal stuff. Business is business . Seems like he just wanted some friends AND seems a little like a hoarder. When he wiped his hands on his clothes after touching the rancid chicken parts 😱ewww . . .

A lot of people think that there junk is worth millions, they remember what they paid for it and it hurts to sell the stuff cheap.

Thanks for the video! Good luck with everything. I hope you do well with this pick. I could see you having your own reality show. I would definitely watch it. But I know you probably like keeping it real. Most reality shows are so staged they're not "reality". Best wishes! -Steven

most buyer would not want to pay more than 50% for an item that they can find brand new if it unique. if a tool retails for $100, i could probably only sell a second one for around $50 so i will only pay that dude not more than $20 if i plan to double it.

That was tough I'm sorry. Walking into a pick where the guy says "Not everything is for sale" basically means he's going to let you only take the crap he wants to get rid of, but the good stuff is off limits. Annoying.
@Crazywaffle51507 жыл бұрын
That's stupid logic. That's like you telling me it's annoying that I wont sell my personal TV because it's in that area. It's called his property that he uses and enjoys dumb ass.
@heartlandranchtv49435 жыл бұрын
That wasn't the case here - Pete and Adrian walked out of there with tons of great stuff. The seller's prices were very cheap as well.
@uberism817 жыл бұрын

Man, it's like going to a garage sale and they have papers with the presale quotes on everything. I saw on eBay that would can get x for it. I would've bolted.
@duckthis177 жыл бұрын
I always why they don't sell it themselves,if it's worth so much on ebay.....
@pleasuretokill7 жыл бұрын
Everyone wants top dollar for their product. You can't blame people that are hustling. Look at what resellers do. It's funny... Every reseller channel has resellers bitching and complaining about high prices, but then they want those items cheap so THEY can charge the high prices, lol. "It's only fair if I'M gouging people!" lol. People that look up prices on ebay are SMART, and don't want to give their stuff away.... and the truth is, reseller KZbin channels like this very one you are watching are the ones informing people to do that. These channels are the very ones that killed the "easy" reselling profits.
@duckthis177 жыл бұрын
Again,Its not worth ebay prices unless your willing to get off your ass and sell it on ebay.
@pleasuretokill7 жыл бұрын
Nunofyour beesiness depends on what you are selling. Ive sold video games and vinyl lps for MORE than the average going rate on Ebay or Amazon locally, simply because the buyers wanted the items i had that very day. Its called getting off your ass and selling, period! Ebay/Amazon arent the only places to make good money. If you think thats the case , you are SORELY mistaken! I piss off resellers all the time by being priced too high for them. Fuck them! Im there to make all of the profit. Not you, lol. If I have to hold on to items a little longer, oh well. I don't give my shit away. EVER. Local or online. Never price your shit so low that a reseller can make money off of it. If you are doing that, you are doing it wrong!
@duckthis177 жыл бұрын
Ya sure you have......

I don't know why people don't sell the stuff on craigslist
@reddog57537 жыл бұрын
buying from other "pickers" sucks, if someone told me they are a "picker" or "reseller" I would not even waste my time going over there if Im planning on buying something to make money on. they will just try to pass off the crap they can't sell onto you and they are not very willing to negotiate on prices because they have already looked up what "it's going for on eBay" total waste of time.
@fernandosalas85897 жыл бұрын
you'll definitely get double on your investment specially on tools, iam sure if you do your homework on that fireman's hat specially if you go to a antique expert you'll get a good return on that fireman's hat.

They will get profit just off the end mills. The rest is just bonus.
@kyleherald23947 жыл бұрын
Endmills are tricky certain ones sell good and others dont. Have to be brand name and not reground. If they a regrinds they are like 5 each and thats on big endmills. And the machinist tools will make lots of money if they are brand name.
