@@girlnextdoor0703 I used to sell quite a bit on Ebay. Had a lot of glass items and mechanical parts that I'd take a chance on by listing at low starting bids. Quite a few times items would surprise me with how high they would go. (Best was $1500.00 on a $2.00 starting bid) Some would go for opening bids. When they started chrging percentage, I quit taking the risk as some I ended up paying more in fees than what I got. I contacted Ebay and asked why and they said a few people charging like $125.00 dhipping with a buy it now of $1.00 for a $150.00 item to avoid fees. I told her fine, If you see those people, kick them off and leave us alone. She said they couldn't which I replied that you're TOO lazy and this is all about finding another revunue increase for your company. I told her you are actually going to loose revenue as I will no longer list heavy items that could go for low prices. She then told me to just raise the starting bid to cover the fees on the shipping. I did that one time and explained in the listing saying just that. They pulled all my auctions and said I could say that in the listings. LOL

I see it a lot on eBay. Like he said you can can list it for whatever you want but, does not mean it will sell for that. I collect sports cards and a common thing I see on eBay is really low value Michael Jordan cards and people are asking hundreds or thousands of dollars for a card that I know sells for less than 10 bucks. Just cause it is a Jordan does not mean it is some super valuable holy grail. I am sometimes convinced that people are using Michael Jordan cards to launder money through eBay. Some of the prices I see are absolutely insane.

Not sure if you are aware, but the Jordan's you show at 4:37 of the video, are very bad knockoffs. The stitching alone gives it away. Probably worth about 40 bucks

That's not right that the Repo guys can take whatever is still in the car, almost seems like theft

I agree that you assume a lot of risk - but that shouldn’t cost someone else money when they are trying to sell something- most people are selling because they are in need- just get rid of the Tesla people LOL- I was screaming at you not to buy that center console- did you hear me

When someone thinks they deserve to make every last cent on an item....I don't even give them a chance....I say I'm not interested in overpaying for merchandise but I will use my money to overpay for a crab dinner later. 😂😂

The simple and truthful answer to your question is because rent is too damn high. I see people at the Swap Meet nowadays here in California with things priced higher than what you can buy the same item for brand new.
