Lovely to see an old locomotive given a new lease of life. Thanks for showing us how you restored her.

Amazing how fast the pickle bath works. A nice engine you have there.

Hi there..... Fantastic videos of the baldwin build..... Its my favourite loco so great to see someone building one and already learnt a lot through watching your videos 😁 One way to stop the copper and brass injector parts from tarnishing is to warm up some bee's wax and use a soft cloth to apply it then 15-20 minutes later you buff it with another soft cloth 👍👍 hope that helps?

Thanks for the tip. The advantage of the spray is that it penetrates as it’s quite liquid; disadvantage is that it has a high water content. I’ve reached an impasse with the Baldwin xheads. Whether to CNC new ones or try and alter the ones made.

@@colinmaceke7474 that's OK matey 👍👍 yeah I understand that with the spray. CNC may be the way to go but would you be able to go down the route of fabrication? That wouldake an awesome video and tutorial for others 👍👍 the baldwin will make a beautiful loco when it's completed 👍 and the crampton looks amazing 👍
