Hey Kyle, I just wanted to share with you and your subscriber's my appreciation for your channel. I've owned a 2001 Saab 9-5 Aero, a 2008 Saab 9-3 TiD and because of your videos I now have traded my 9-3 for a 2013 Jaguar XF Portfolio 3.0 SC RWD 340hp and I'm looking to upgrade the intake, crank pulley and get a tune in it to bring it up to 450hp. Excellent channel, excellent videos, very detailed and clear. Ever since my 16th birthday when I got my first car, I've been a bit of a motor head too. Thanks for your help.

That's what i want to do with my jaguar xf supercharged. But considering that it would cost at least 3,000 for everything just for a few more hp ive stalled on it. Be cheaper just to add a NOS tank lol.

For those wondering like I was, the green belt is a Gates KO80580HD FleetRunner Micro-V and the pully is a Gates 38022 Idler/Tensioner Pully. The lower crankshaft I'm not sure. Can't seem to see a part # in the video.

Yeah i know that was my first thought on this video. Altering anything on this car thinking it's increasing performance without a tune remap is most likely decreasing hp lol.

The supercharger belt only operates the crank and the charger or fan in some cars, it doesn’t share anything with the accessory belt

did you just change the crankshaft pulley? why not changed the pulley only SC? to gain more torque and horsepower? I'm from Brazil and would you like to know where you bought the crankshaft pulley and belt? could you tell me, where did you buy the pulley if you sell the complete kit? do you think that if you change all the pulleys, SC and crankshaft would gain more torque and horsepower? thank you, i'm your subscriber

The lower pulley stresses the snout shaft less, and has more hp potential. Especially after tuned.

He could of got the upper supercharger pulley also but only about 15-20hp gain maybe if that. It’s not worth the hassle and risk. Lower pulley is the way to go. It has way more gains and easier to install.

I’ve read those cone Mina Gallery intakes actually hurt the hp for these cars. Somethjing about the cone design pulls in warm air. From what I’ve read, the stock filters are perfectly fine.

Hi Kyle, I'm confused what you're doing with the 24mm. Are you only using that to stop counter rotation of the rotating assembly? I'm about to install the same Mina lower pulley (from the bottom of the car on a lift).

I know it's been two years, lol .. But yes, the 24mm is stopping the counter rotation of the engine while you break the bolts free from the crank pulley.

It always pays to do a dyno run before and after to see if the money you've spent was worth it. Too many Jag upgrade mods out there that are only cashing in and not producing the power they say they do.. I did dyno my 2015 XF 5.0 SC and it came up to 460hp & 426tq in 4th gear. Now i have VAP tune in it from a F-Type SVR and it's enough for now.

The jaguar xf supercharged is 420 or 418 hp stock. Altering anything on this car requires a tune remap or you are just throwing the car out its original power band. Probably lost hp doing it.

If he thinks a crank pulley and still half restricted air intake system is gonna now be making 400hp he's smoking something. as he said its a 12% gain (if he maps it in instead of just fitting it) which is about 36hp more plus the intakes which are only about 10hp means at most he will be running around 380hp with a good map. if he then thinks that he can get 160hp added too his engine just from swapping intake cones, crank and a map then wtf is he taking about. there's no thought of exhaust mods for less back pressure or maybe fuel delivery systems from XFRS. if it were that easy to make 500hp out of these with the minimal amount of parts and effort then these would fly off the shelves over M3's and other competitors. the man chats out his arse.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I'm late to the party I know... BUT, I feel like you can tell a lot about a person by the way they respond to others and that was super cringy. I actually came to say the same thing, I'm glad I'm not the only person that noticed.
