@@ButtercupsEvilTwin8877 Another thought: Someone's life isn't just their marriage. It's entirely possible she sees herself as a good person despite fucking up in her relationship. But presumably the polygraph was also done in a similar manner to the actual show -- in that it was a string of related questions after the first 'yes' getting progressively "harder" to answer. Even if she truly believes she's a good person and would test favorably on polygraph if asked that in a vacuum, following up a series of bombshell "gotcha" questions with "are you a good person" is going to make it hard to say "yes" and test favorably, because it's putting the question in the context of those gotcha questions instead of being a broader, general question.

If she just tried to bury that and kept on living her life pretending she was happy with Frank she would have only hurt them both in the end. The biggest problem she really has is that she didn’t sit down with Frank and explain how she was feeling from the very beginning, and say to him that she really wasn’t sure how confident she was in their relationship even before they got married, and if it came to it decide it would be best if they called the wedding off all together. The funny part of polygraphs is that they arent actuate. A nervous person could seem like a liar and someone who is well put together could come out like they tell nothing but the truth. @ProulxS3 жыл бұрын
What I don't like about the show premise is that she know all the question since she answered them before while at the polygraph. She's acting like if it was shocking but she know exactly where she's standing. If she think she lied during the test she can change her answer now but the opposite of a no isn't always a yes. If she is forced to change her answer now to yes because polygraph will say that 'no' isn't fully the truth it doesn't mean that Yes is true either. On the opposite if she said yes during test but it's not entirely true she can now claim the answer is no because a portion of it would have been no. So much flaws
@judyyyyyy18573 жыл бұрын

Maybe if she was decent she could have split the money but I doubt it. Probably was going to be used to start a new life. I wish he got all the money too but atleast she doesn't get a cent. She really doesn't deserve it. As for the question, out of all the questions I wonder why she went with yes, if she said no it wouldn't be redeemable but atleast it would show a shred of humanity. I think I knew what happened though. Polygraphtest don't measure truths or lies. It measures things related to lies like things that signify stress and uncomfortableness. I feel like this show wouldn’t be particularly bad/awkward for you if you’re a generally decent person. Might have some funny embarrassing things maybe. But if you’re not a cheater or thief or something I don’t think anything would be too bad. But then I guess if you don’t have any spicy answers you probably wouldn’t be interesting enough to be aired on the show and get the money.
@comicbooknerdisme3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, in all reality TV shows, they screen for specific personalities, almost exclusively ones that will have drama and conflict to make the reality TV more interesting. That’s why you have shitty contestants making it onto American idol, while hundreds, thousands of people who may sing well, don’t get there
