I really appreciate you taking the time to warn people that are sensitive to bee/wasp stings that hognoses could be dangerous for them most of the people I see talk about them don't mention that they just talk about how awesome they are as pets (which is true) but I personally know someone who was hospitalized because of their pet hognose and it's scary so thank you for letting people know

I appreciate this because I have debated getting a hog nose but will not get one now just due to the fact that I am very allergic to bee stings. Are ball pythons or corn snakes the same worry? I own turtles and a bearded dragon and want to get a snake to help overcome my fear of them. Getting my bearded dragon has greatly helped me not be scared of them anymore, and now we are good friends, and so I wish to do the same with a snake.

@@jkatttt Both corn snakes and ball pythons have zero venom in them so no worries there. They are very different in terms of keeping tho so you should look further into them to decide which fits you best (and also of course to keep them correctly).

@Phantom Squad they’re quite a bit pickier though, balls can just go off food and there’s the increased humidity. For a straight out beginner to snakes 100% a corn.

Dayumn I didn't know that about Hognose. 😔 Sucks cause I'm allergic to bees too and even glue. Certainly not worth finding out how far my allergies go when it comes to any species. The more reactions you have the worse they get too. And Lord knows I've had far to many loving wildlife like I have lol. Dang it. Lol.

On another note got lucky with the corn we had. It would litraly lay with the kids watching tv on the couch. It was super large compared to most corn snakes and lazy and chill as can be lol. King snakes can be cool too I like the black and white and they pretty docile.

I'm actually terrified and not the fondest of snakes, but ever since finding you and Tyler Nolan's channels I cannot stop watching! I apologize for leaving more than one comment but... I took one of my Colombian red tail's perfect sheds last year, and I laminated it. The laminator preserved the skin perfectly, including the textures of the scales. Great educational tool, my students love it!

My friend and I went to the Philadelphia zoo today and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the reptile house was open. We spent a good 45 minutes in there. I made him read me almost every sign for the animals. I was dropping reptile facts left and right. He’s not super afraid of snakes so he enjoyed himself. He was a little unnerved by the gaboon viper and the big green anaccanda.

She's a beauty. Even her spots are yellow. I wish I still had mine and found a decent male. The nice genes are gone now .. Anna was a sweetheart. Bright lemon yellow, even on the back between contrasting spots. There were sheds when they would green a little bit, but usually lemon. One had a disposition similar to a Colombian R.T. Boa.
