Literally another example of why Sharpay deserved the role. Sharpay WAS a triple threat. Gabriella could sing, but that was basically it. She didn’t really have much stage presence and nobody knew if she could dance or not. Sharpay would have gotten the role had this been real life.

Sutton Foster is proof that you can belt high notes eight times a week for years and years and it doesn't "tire out" your voice. Because of proper technique she can still do everything she could do 15 years ago. If someones voice is getting worse over time, it's because they've been singing with unhealthy habits. So young performers should take good care of themselves so they can keep singing for a long time. holy h e c k that's more likes than I was expecting.

I love this. I'm so tired of KZbin comments excusing vocal exhaustion because "singing at that level will always tire out your voice!" There are some vocalists that I love and appreciate but still recognize that their technique is poor and that will cost them longevity.

i’m honestly so shocked her voice has stayed as healthy as it has. if you’ve read some of her interviews, she expressed that millie and little women were terrible for her voice. she hated being the ‘star’ and being forced to carry a show when she didn’t know how to. it took drowsy chaperone and Shrek for her to find her passion again

BROCCOLIBOI right, bad technique and stuff, but I don’t think that means taking her singing points away because even though her vocal chords have been damaged, she still sounds good. Estela Ramos no I totally get that she sound s great still, but really only in more controlled settings, like a studio or something. I can see her really excelling in her albums and stuff (not saying they are heavily doctored or anything, just not completely live, considering they can redo stuff and make things louder/softer and stuff). Her live performances, especially more recent ones, are really strained most of the time, I really wish she had learned better technique because she one was such a triple threat. I just don’t think you can count it now because she can’t really produce a good live sound anymore.

He has an incredible vocal an acting range. Seeing him sing his part in 'No one remembers achmed' an 'show stopping number' seems like watching two totally different actors. AND that dancing in 'I'm a cop' (and again show stopping number). WOW,,,, what a man to stan.

Lesli Margherita is a killer triple threat as well! That split slam she did in Matilda?? C’mon!😍 There are so many good British triple threats, it’s amazing😍 Ruthie Henshall is probably the most legendary, but some of my favourites include Josefina Gabrielle, Zizi Strallen, Summer Strallen, Rebecca Trehearn, Julie Andrews (not so much now, sadly), Bonnie Langford... just to name a few! I’d call myself ‘a two-and-a-half threat’, as I’m competent in acting and singing, but I’m not brilliant at dance. I’m not terrible either, but I’m no Sutton Foster😂

Anastasia Bananastasia fosse is a choreographer who’s style of choreography is present in many musicals like chicago and sweet charity. he’s dead but his choreography is still used now. gwen vernon was one of his wives and used to be his dance captain so she knows his style very well and honestly can make it prettier than him sometimes

Zoe Reed he also danced his whole life from childhood, danced in tv programmes and for mgm (ie. kiss me kate) and they both danced together for decades. they were more a team and soulmates imo and saying one is better than the other is just distasteful.

Stephanie J Block... Queen of Belting, Learnt how to Irish Stepdance for The Pirate Queen and tap for when she filled in the role of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, she definitely danced when she played Liza Minelli in The Boy From Oz, and I'm sure there are other things too. Also, if you're doing actresses who are still active today she won't count, but Julie Andrews could certainly dance, sing, and act in her heyday.

"You can't dance or sing in musical theatre without acting". Well... depends on your definition of acting, but sure you can, and many people do it :( But luckily there're some great talented actors, singers and dancers like these 😍 Such a great compilation!!! But I also would have enjoyed watching them with some text, it's also not easy to do a believable performance, especially with some profund roles
