I can't remember which panel, but at one point someone either takes two actions in a turn without haste, or casts two non-cantrip spells without quicken spell metamagic. Edit: upon reviewing the episode, it's the pit fiend, it can either cast hold monster or use its multi-attack in a turn, not both. In addition, he was recalling the 3.5E stat block for pit fiends that are immune to non-magical attacks. 5E pit fiends are fully affected by silvered weapons and only resistant, not immune, to non-magical attacks

The cabinet positions mentioned aren’t established in section 2; NONE of the cabinet members are. They’re just like “the president can choose some advisors”
@rachelrachel91523 жыл бұрын
Yeah even though I've seen this episode before that was what my mind went to this time, the cabinet is one of those many things that is a long standing institution in our government but not actually specifically written out in any sense in the constitution

Rachel seems like the perfect fit for the origin spirit of this format, but boi would I not enjoy playing anything even slightly competitive with her (going by this, she might totally different with other players on the team, on another game etc). I mainly play coop board and video games of people who are this competitive, very much including myself.

I think that absolute silence after Grant buzzed at the very end of the show was the part that ended up making me laugh the most. The rest of the show was hilarious, but just something about it ending on a joke falling completely flat was the perfect ending

I wish they hadn't glazed over the fact that Grant played the Wiz, I would've loved to hear more about that. They tried to hold on to it, but there was too much much stuff being said 😂

he brought it up again in a recent episode of dirty laundry! (if you haven’t seen it) it was a high school show and during the production he accidentally talked shit about the pianist while his mic was hot in the theater, causing the hired adult pianist to fully quit during tech week. sounds like pure chaos.

I felt like I was being gaslighted when Trapp kept insisting it was from Sweeney Todd
@MandatoryHandle3 жыл бұрын
The bizarre thing is that, as a theatre nerd and a *massive* fan of Les Mis, I too answered Sweeney Todd before the correct answer was read out, and was for a moment confused by Grant's correction. I'm not sure why; the other questions seemed more clear cut, but something about the way Trapp read out the question *immediately* made my mind jump to Toby's performance of "God, That's Good!" when he's advertising Mrs. Lovett's Meatpies, even though the lyrics are very clearly not from there

I always find theatre nerds incredibly impressive. Because it isn't like you just know a lot about one show, or production, and know everything about it? It's *every* broadway show. It's one thing being able to tell me who created the sacred beast technique in Naruto, it's entirely another knowing the original cast, secondary cast, writers, lyrics and lyricists of hundreds of productions.
