I had an automatic version. I snapped so many engine mounts, gear box, tail shaft. But only ever replaced 2 spark plug leads on the engine. I redlined it all day long. Solid body too.

I had one m111 136 hp, 400k km. No problems, solid engine! Pull out the thermostat. Leave it without it. These engines tend to overheat. It will be better for extreme usage

the w202 is such an awesome car my dad had an 220 diesel non turbo. it sounded like a ship diesel from the outside but was really smooth and quiet on the inside, very high quality! and that with like 280.000 km great seats and suspension too. the passat b4 tdi wagon he had before it was such an shitbox compared to the merc!

Does the gas have much input delay? My friend had one of these - the esprit trim one to be exact. It was a good car to drive and you could drift it in a pretty big angle and it wouldn't spin out. The only few things I hated about it was that the gas took like at least a second to do anything and the absence of a manual handbrake was disappointing. Otherwise it was a quick and nimble car to have some fun in winter. Would have been cool to see how it could do skids on tarmac, but he changed it to another car in a month.

mine had the same thing , but its the sport trim, gas took half a second even when to the floor, check your fuel pump, mine was special with return pressure so was more expensive but that made the pedal like a new car almost.

Anything will drift man as long as it has a clutch pedal and it's rwd but why do that with a c180, it's a cruiser's car. A 190 will be better for a drifting shitbox.

Check the end-link and the sway bar bushings. Spray some wd-40 and check for squeaks
