I've noticed that Crash's walking animation is different than the first game. It'd be easy for the Trilogy to just use the same Crash animations for all 3 games, but they went the extra mile and mimicked how he looked in each of the games. Nice. I've always felt that Turtle Woods was the perfect introduction to this game: extremely easy when played normally, but a lot trickier to 100%. This pretty much sums up the Crash games in general.

Ever since I saw your first Crash 2 walkthrough on the PS1, I've always done this method you use to get everything in one go. That's pretty smart.

well, didn't know you could get both gems in one go :) And that the slide Jump is that far to jump over the nitro is also good to know, i jumped into the nitro at least 5 times... :/

The blue gem has way too much lighting. But I can't fault the red gem in any way.

In this level get the blue gem (don't break any boxes) beside the crystal and die then break all boxes and hidden boxes in underground secret path (totem platform body slam) to get the boxes gem.

I never even tried it. You're supposed to bounce off of the striped box lol. No risk doing it that way...

the no-boxes gem. There is a 2x4 wall of boxes with a roof making it difficult to slide jump past them, but one of the upper boxes is striped so you can just bounce over it without any risk

Hey Garland, one question: does the controls of this version is much different from original Crash 2? Because the jump and most importantly the slide jump aren't as good as they used to be.

Have you tried using the slide spin? It's actually useful and even works with the Death Tornado Spin ability in Warped, albiet making it hard to turn.

Arghh i done it once then got distracted by a person talkin to me missed the box under the turtle and only got 61/62....pure ragin!!!

That slide jump is so cheeky over the box wall. Do you always do it that way?? I used the striped box

I think Warp Room 4, I got every thing in the original game, took me exactly 3 Warp Rooms (counting all available secrets) to get to 99. (Other originals: First game took 11 levels and 3rd one took 19 levels.) You just get too many lives if you're a good player.
