15:47 and 20:42 Man the nitro detonator is really fucking buggy in this game huh. You hit the detonator and somehow the two times crates that were directly on top of nitros didn’t explode. It’s so weird how the detonator works in this game since it seems to rarely work properly

Nitro detonator works perfectly on ps4 version. pc/ps5 version they slightly broke it. it still works all the other times, except when the nitros in the time trial didn't exist in the original level. Nitro at 19:29 exists in original so detonator works. but end of the level they don't exist in original level so detonator doesn't work for them.

@@RoskatThat’s still a strange bug. The fact it doesn’t apply to the nitros that the time trials makes confuses me. Since it’s clear during some leve design that the devs expected you to leave them and hit the detonator to get the time so the fact it doesn’t work on those specific crates is really weird

15:04 Cortex has a habit of doing that. Either that or someone put oil on his shoes... 15:47 Pause at the right time and you'll see the time crates didn't get blown up. Looked like the nitro crates blew up when you hit the detonator but the nitros didn't destroy the time crates... 18:55 Managed to go through the plant without losing Aku Aku 18:58 Never mind 20:42 Time crates at the end survive again Nicely done with these two levels, Lewis. Fossil Fueled is finally out of the way! 👍 I wonder how many levels from the worst Crash 4 platinum relics list will make the worst developer relics list... I have a feeling Fossil Fueled (or any other Cortex level) will be there... 🤔

The easiest dev relic I ever got was unironically Rush Hour. It's exactly like stormy ascent, the level itself is punishing but the time is so forgiving once you get through it, you'll more than likely get the dev relic first try. Or at least a platinum.

Alright Lewis. Here is my update on dev relics. I have made some solid progress and I have 4 MORE DEV RELICS LEFT. (Out For Launch, Crash Landed, Food Run and Toxic Tunnels.) Recently the first I completed was "Shipping Error". I have to say, once I mastered the Cortex Part, the only worrysome part I had was the 2D enemy spam room. But the time is quite lenient since when the ghost appears in the crash section, its around 43 seconds flat. (While my fastest was 37 seconds at that cutscene) I also skipped out on the 2 one second time relic crates on the ceiling, because F*** ika ika parts and overcomplicating my own run lol. So in short, this wasnt that bad. Next two I have done were "Fossil Fueled" and "Dino Dash". I gotta come clean Lewis, personally, for me the WORST CORTEX LEVEL is "Seeing Double". Fossil Fueled also wasnt that bad. In fact, dare I say, this level was fun to speedrun through, with the exception of the Lava Part. (In fact, this entire dimension gets ruined by lava parts, from my own experience.) I think I got lucky with the level cycle with the lava part as I got through it probably as quickly as you possibly can. I got the dev relic even with wasting like 2 seconds at the end of the level, to not die to the nitros. (I was extra careful since that was my first time getting to the end) As for Dino Dash, it was trivial. The time is insanely lenient. Triple Akus and all and I got it within 45 minutes of attempting the level. Its weird me saying this, but this is probably 2nd most chill dev relic dimension. Even Rock Blocked was fun, just ruined by Lava Cheese.

@@WumpaLewis I will tell you why mate. I have a bad history with this level F****** me over way too many times to count. My 🍑is literally a swizz-cheese by now from that level alone. From my perspective, I see this level as, way too long, has Ika Ika, potential for perma-ice glitch and two Shnurgle parts. I've also had 3 runs where in my 2nd playthrough (that I dropped) I got robbed of N.sane Perfect Relic. First glitch, was me getting stuck permanently in the Bonus Platform. Second glitch was me clipping through the BLUE GEM platform behind the invisible wall. I was stuck behind it. 3rd and most insulting was last starfish enemy. I jumped at the right time and still hitbox caught me, even though I have done it like that before. So its safe to say, I dOnT lIkE tHaT lEvEl mUcH.

If you Restart the level every time you die in the time trial for this level it will give you a good cycle but this Method isn’t good for some levels

These Cortex levels are gonna suck. He really cannot aim for shit. Even on the 2D sections there’s times where he shoots the wall instead of what’s in front of him. It happened to me multiple times when I was doing the time trials for his levels.

@WumpaLewis Sorry for the confusion but turns out they were NOT originally nitro, I was pretty sure they were because GarlandTheGreat ignored them in his run and just hit the detonator I did too!
