I agree with you. Even characters like Yaya Panda are in Nitro Fueled. YAYA PANDA!!!! I still can't believe that a character from a java game is in a PS4 video game. Without a doubt, what Nitro Fueled did is unique. Even mediocre Crash games are being respected. Who knows even if we will see Viscount even from Boom Bang? Only time will tell. The best fan service in history, without a doubt Nitro Fueled is the Crash for every class of Crash fan ;)

Actually Crash games with Yaya Panda as a character before Nitro-Fueled were not only on Java but also on N-Gage, iOS and console named Zeebo but I agree that adding her to NF was beyond expectations. Actually everything in this remake is beyond expectations and if I'll buy PS4, XOne or Switch, I'm sure I'll purchase and play this game.

What Beenox has been doing is definitely insane future-proofing. If the Evil Coco and Evil Crunch costumes were the point where they were willing to pull out content from any game, Rilla Roo and Yaya's inclusion (among many others) is expressing love for the series as a whole, warts and all. Especially important in Yaya's case, since her games have been taken down from mobile. Now it's no longer a question of "what if they were in?" and more of "who ISN'T in yet?". I'm an advocate for underused or misused older characters getting repurposed for new contexts, so this is an exciting prospect for me.

This is one of the reasons I adore CTR:NF and wish it didn't get the treatment it gets from observers who are scared away by the microtransactions (not saying they aren't a problem, but that's a whole different discussion) It's bursting at the seams with love and dedication to the entire franchise, regardless of the quality of each individual game. I remember being against post Naughty Dog characters returning. Beenox changed my stance on that. They've shown that these characters have more to offer than what was in their games. They've made me love the CTTR characters, Rilla Roo, and Yaya despite being iffy on them before.

Prior to CTR Nitro Fueled, I had NO IDEA who Rilla Roo, Yaya Panda, or Fasty/Hasty were and to be honest I barely knew about the Trophy Girls/Nitro Squad due to never playing CTR. The only Crash racing game I got into was CNK. As the grand prixs went on, I was introduced to these characters that I had never seen before and as they were introduced, I learned more and more about the franchise. CTR Nitro Fueled is by far my favorite Crash Bandicoot game of all time!

With all of these characters being brought back it makes me hopeful for who they could add next. I'm kind of hoping they add the Bratgirls from Crash of the Titans. The game wasn't all that great but I really enjoyed the Bratgirls the most out of all the henchmen, especially when you listen in on them talking.

I feel it’s probably the best thing they could do honestly, and that’s because of one thing: it makes sure no fan is left without something. I’ve heard time and time again: “I want a Crash Bash remake!” “I want a Wrath of Cortex remake!” “I want a Twinsanity remake!” Fans of these games don’t want them to be forgotten about. But if these games got remakes, people would at this point be sick of the remakes, wouldn’t buy the remakes of these far less popular games, and Activision would lose faith in the franchise. Instead of remaking the post-Naughty Dog games, they’re turning what was originally just a CTR remake into something that celebrates the series’ history. When N. Sane Trilogy came out, I thought that moving forward, *anything* after the Naughty Dog games would just be forgotten about by Activision, with no elements from those games returning in future games, essentially being a new start for the series. That would actually make Then, Nitro-Fueled not only includes Nitro Kart’s entire roster (which consists almost ENTIRELY of one-off characters, by the way), but then go on to include some characters so obscure that I didn’t even know about them before, like Yaya Panda and Fasty/Hasty. For that, I’ve got mad respect for Beenox.

One thing I noticed looking through the cancelled games was a character originally planned in the game Crash Bandicoot Evolution that would eventually become Crash Twinsanity that would've apparently held the role Cortex had in that game: An alien named Foofie that could change into any shape or size. Judging from various pieces of artwork and faces, they were planning on making it a completely original character with a lot of personality and would seemingly be a good fit for a new racer in the game. Here what I know, I’ll appreciate the Remakes of the original crash, Spyro and the new CTR. The remakes I’ll never appreciate? The ratchet and Clank 2016 game. That “Reimagined” game threw away a great story, characters, levels and music for what? Shinier graphics? A more baby main duo who barely act like a duo than they did in the original nearly 20 years ago? As a die hard fan of this crazy Bandicoot, one "secondary" (so to say) characther that i would love to see in the franchise is the hog that we all have ridden in the level "Hog Wild" in that masterpiece that was the original Crash. Him and King Chicken would be my perfect duo. Also, i'm dreaming about it because, after all, we have the two "riding animals" from the other Crash games : Pura and Polar. I can definitely agree with this. It is so refreshing to see both familiar faces that I grew up with and loved to also characters I never got the chance to experience just all packed in one. Like being the Nitro Kart bosses?! Awesome! The Norms wound up being one of my faves. Crash bosses like Pinstripe and Dingo? Amazing to get to finally play as them (since I never owned original CTR). Being reunited with my favorite characters back in the day, being Pasadena, Nina, and even Von Clutch? That is such a nostalgia rush that put a smile on my face. I do hope we get a lot of these characters in future games. They have a lot of shining potential and this game is being built into something wonderful for the franchise. I agree with you 100% (sorry for the essay btw lol)

It's honestly like reaching comic book hero status. There are incarnations of Superman people like and some versions people dislike, but to truly bring the best about the character is to show the accomplishments and faults of a character...something that makes people go, "WOW look at how much they've has grown!" This is especially valuable to me, as someone who has stuck with Crash (and Spyro) from the beginning since early childhood, and never really let go. I strongly associate the series with some of the happiest times in my life. And because it had always been an underdog even in its glory days, I always felt like the only one to even know some of the obscure post-Naughty Dog characters, let alone like them. Anyone will recognize Princess Daisy or Waluigi and care about them in Smash, but who would get as excited as me upon realizing _N. Trance_ was making a comeback, or that the trophy girls were getting reimagined into the Nitro Squad?

You know, I hadn't thought about this "preserving the past" angle... but it makes sense. I often forget how long it's been since Crash had its initial heyday, so all these characters were already well known to me (with the sole exceptions of Yaya and Hasty so far)... but this puts them ALL in the spotlight of THE biggest Crash game, barring the original trilogy of course. Now future games don't need to have people do deep searches through the past to feature any of these characters, they just need to play this ONE game. And ANY Crash fan would have played this particular game!

I'm not that much of a Crash fan, but I have tons of respect and admiration for Beenox for putting in all this work to make Crash fans happy. So many developers and publishers do the exact opposite: they do the bare minimum and expect fans to just buy stuff out of brand loyalty (I'm looking at Bethesda and Gamefreak). It's even more impressive that Beenox is releasing all this stuff for free, they could very easily make all these characters and skins and tracks into paid DLC or lootboxes and make tons of extra money off of it, but they don't. Crash fans are lucky to have a developer who cares about you all, so many other gaming fandoms have devs who don't care about us and just want to squeeze as much money out of us as possible, with as little effort on their part as possible.

Beenox may have brought back most of the Crash characters in Nitro Fueled, but I can’t say they have been exactly fair to the roster throughout the game’s run. They pretty much treated the CNK characters like garbage, excluding them out of most of the GPs, screwed over a lot of the GP characters like Spyro, N. Brio, Pasadena and Yaya Panda so Beenox’ favorite characters like Coco, Tiny, and Fake Crash can have more skins and hog the playerbase.

I wished that they included in The N sane Trilogy a DLC a new hub world with five sections of it's own levels and Bosses. For example first batch of DLC, in CB1 a fourth island with it's unique levels and bosses like : Rilla Roo and Yaya Panda are bosses. 2nd DLC CB Cortex strikes back a new hub worlds with Ebenezer Von Clutch, Pasadena O'Possum, Willy Woompa Cheeks and Madam Amberlly are bosses.while Nina is a playable too. 3rd DLC In Warped is the same, with N. Trance, Small/Big Norm, Nash and Geary are the bosses while Crunch is a playable character in some levels similar to Coco.

Please let us play as crates! Yes, that's right, I actually want to race as a CRATE. Crate would be unlocked from breaking a set number of crates while racing. Afterwards, the amount of skins to unlock would be comically numerous! It would really pave the way for unlock methods likes battle modes, or specific tasks in adventure mode, with each skin matching the task of course. Then a bunch of other skins could just be dumped in the pit stop, like the Purple Mystery Crate from Crash Bash, the Invisibility Crate from Wrath of Cortex, and the X Crate from Nitro Kart, and so many more!

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a bio section. Even if it's just a short paragraph about the character and noting in what game they first appeared, it'd be pretty neat. Also means I don't have to keep explaining who the new characters are to my sister at the start of each Grand Prix.

I have heard from a reliable source that my friends company has a NEW Crash Bandicoot game in the works. I believe that they have gotten rights to make this crash game from Activision, but just this once. I have seen gameplay and I can announce it as real, and not going to be scrapped. Rumours have circulated for something in March, I can't say much more, but do be on the lookout for a crash game with a familiar name...

Unfortunately the 3 things I remember most where completely removed which I hope they change. Coco's saying of "Pass it on" when she uses a weapon. Horizontal split screen for offline local play. Battle mode ending text like "Clock jock" and "Most juiced up.

Plus in tying Spyro's universe in they're effectively creating an almost Nintendo like roster of characters which, I'm sure, will be very important when it comes to marketing and selling new games in the future.

I'm still rooting for Rusty Walrus. He was planned to be a recurring character in the Twinsanity games and was planned to even be a real boss for the first game. It would be nice to bring him into the game and I'm almost sure this will happen.

I'd rather... not? they are more focused on new projects and i dont think that a pure plataformer character will be interesting to them anymore, they already did justice with the first games and now we can only trust in Vicarious Vision for the future of Crash, if Crash was owned by Naughty Dog, i dont think that we'll have all these characters today in Nitro Fueled, in fact, i dont think that Nitro Fueled wouldn't even exist in the first place

Revisiting this... we are down to the final 10 or so potential franchise characters that are worth preserving in my opinion Lab Assistant (Basically confirmed) Madame Amberly, Evil Crash, Evil Twins (+Good Cortex skin) as a "Twinsanity DLC" Willie Wumpa, Rusty Walrus, Farmer Ernest Viscount and Mr Crumb It would be a crying shame to "kill off" any of these

Love what Beenox is doing! I wish the Soul Calibur franchise was as generous as them. A "grand prix"-like event would be amazing for Soul Calibur 6. But no, they release one character every 4 months or so and charge a lot of money for dlc
