Austin was actually amazing in this video. Not only was he in near total control despite having never done this before, and having a screaming Hasan to his side, but his speech at the end about how if he can do this, just imagine what the pilots who've spent thousands of hours flying can do. That really hit me in the good smiles. I had no idea Austin wanted to be a pilot growing up, but with how cool he made pilots look here, I can understand why xx

my favorite moment from this stream was when Austin was going on about how good of a 'pilot' he is and nobody should be worried, followed instantly by the overspeed alert 🤣
@ryanthompson37372 жыл бұрын
It's actually common for that alarm to come on, even with experienced pilots. You're essentially running the same route for as long as your shift runs, and it can become VERY boring and mind numbing. A lot of pilots end up going too fast, triggering that alarm, near the end of their shift just to get the route over with. Over speed isn't a big problem unless it's coupled with your plane falling out of the sky.

@@JimmyHey well yes Austin does have a really extensive knowledge of planes, and has done a lot of plane simulator. I think he initially had a crippling fear of flying, and in order to get over it, decided to lead a lot about planes.
