You have a really god taste in car design my friend. The white coupe is the Volvo P1800 driven by ”The Saint” in the UK tv series. Designed by Pelle Petterson, an Olympic sailing champion and later a sailing boat designer. An absolute legend in his native Sweden.

Great vid. especially for us that may have not seen a bunch of Volvos in one place before. Their “box’ bodies are always recognizable. Very interesting to see that vintage “sport” model. Thanks for posting👍

The P1800 from the early 1960s to the early 1970s was very fashionable. Its performance was about the same as the 144. The P1800E with a fuel injected engine was the fastest model. Before Roger Moore became James Bond, he was Simon Templar in "The Saint", a TV series that ran for most of the 1960s. He made the P1800 famous.

As a Swede freak, heaven. Long time 95' Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon owner, near perfect, antique registered, truly blows away anything to this day, plus holds 4 x 8 sheets of plywood, 265k, runs as new, a very fast Swedish Tank, super smooth. Recent Saab 01' 93, vert, SE, 145k, 9 out of 10 condition, 5 speed, unmodified yet, 3rd gear is almost breathtaking if you stomp it.., stock, NEED ADVICE...., the Volvo 850 Wagon is still by far the much better car overall, BUT the 93 has potential.., it is that damm "body flex".., I expected being a convertible to have "some", perhaps a truly unfair comparison vs the amazing 850 Turbo Wagon, which truly is super fast planted always.., the Saab seems quicker, handles actually better.., but that "body flex" is really obvious!! Are there any mods that can be done, the suspension is all almost new.., compared to the Volvo, the Saab is "super fun".., but truly lacks that rock solid Volvo feel.., I understand the 93 is a convert.., but still.., it is night and day difference. I love my new Saab......, any advice? THX in advance.

it's mostly because its a convertible and an OG 9-3. notorious for having noodle chassis. i'd recommend getting some strut/frmae braces!
