I'm a vato from Los Angeles. I've watched the Ruggeds along with many others in their come up days since the mid 2000's and onward. Since crashfest already happened I have to say that the highlights with Alexis from Peru and Lee were the only ones that I can say were doing something on two extreme opposites. Lee performed and made it work with the moves he had doing them his way while Alexis was doing next level power transitions and moves. The Ruggeds one of the few crews I would like to join from outside of the States based off their creativity. Saludos 🇲🇽🤝

Can someone explain the concept of Crashfest?

As the name states, unlike ‘normal’ battles, at CrashFest crashing is OK. You are not judged by your cleanliness. It’s all about pushing boundaries and moves to the highest level possible. The concept is simple: Throw and show your hardest, craziest, riskiest, and most original moves. The one who stands out the most wins the whole thing (chosen by the competitors). And the one who was the most consistent, or hits the hardest move, wins the BMF belt (chosen by Tawfiq).
