I'm not saying chester's voice bad or something like that coz it's still chester is original voice and I think he's the best singer in the world. There was a time that I was 17, lost, abused, hurt and my wounds never healed. I am now 37 years old, 2 daughters, and have an amazing wife. Showing my respect to a man that helped me get to the other side through heart felt words for many years. This morning, this live song came on my playlist that made me burst in tears in remembrance of such a lost piece of humanity. Chester, It's almost 2024... The wounds that have not healed, they won't ever heal. You're voice, your presence is surely missed by all of us fans who grew up with you giving our grief a shouting a voice. screaming out to the world about all the inner demons and turmoil we all had. You weren't just a friend. You weren't just a musician. You weren't just a father or husband. You were the voice of millions of people, Hell you still are. I don't hear a ghost when i hear your voice in music. I just hear you. I hear you and the band that saved me, saved probably thousands if not millions of others. Pulling us back from the edge of that cliff. When you fell from it, it was so sudden. hit so hard. the wind was knocked out of all of us all at once. your band mates, your family, all of your friends, and all of your fans. We cried out in pain. Crying into eachothers arms because we lost someone that for so long gave a voice to our despair. our depressions, anxieties, suicidal thoughts, and our raw pain... Linking Park still does that for us. Those of us that grew up with the band. those that were here from the beginning, to the very end of the era of "Chester Bennington" Just know, we all still feel that light of your missing in this otherwise bleak world. we can only take solace in the fact that you aren't here enduring the literall hell that world has turned into. I hope you found peace Chester. Know that you are missed, know that you and linkin park still help save us all. and know that we always turn to you when we're struck down and on our knees because of our demons. Love you Chester, Love you Linkin Park, and Love to all of you fans.

They've been family, friends, leaders, teachers and role models. Many have taught us what we need to know what to do when times get rough. They've helped us move on. They've pushed us out of bed. This man had an absolutely profound effect on my life, his words and music pulled me out of some of the darkest of times during my childhood and adolescence. As an adult, I feel fortunate enough to still retain those positive feelings generated by, him, his music and his amazing band of brothers. Although he his no longer with us, its safe to say his light still remains inside of us, still positivily shining throughout us all. Thank you for everything Chester. Rest in Peace 🙏

Yes, I understand. It is sad that almost all the Artists I like have died. For months I have been trying to compile a "Linkin Park, Avicii, and VNV Nation" symbolism tattoo that works for me. It will be the first ink, and likely last, of my life. But it means enough to make it permanent.

It is haunting to me how literally every single LP song got a whole new meaning since I started to have my own wave of depressions. It's so eye opening to how Chester felt, cause I too feel this darkness since my 30s. I rocked out to LP in my teens cause they sounded awesome, and now so much later they still have so much impact on my life. Listening to their songs gives me so much comfort these days. RIP Chester and thanks for everything.

chanellape67 I saw them, actually I told Chester he was a douchebag,a move I regret now,it was the late 90's At the Agora in Cleveland, Ohio,Kottonmouth kings concert,me and my friends got there real early,so we was like cool,we'll be the first ones in the door, well when we got to the main door, there was a group of like 7/8 dudes arguing with security about finding someone, well me and my crew being the assholes we are, look at these dudes who looked no different than we did and say who the hell are you thinking they'd let you in before the gates open, the dudes look back at us part confused part amazed they reply were Linking Park, once again in true asshole fashion I say Who the hell is that? You guys look like a bunch of douchebags to me,we kind of talk back and forth finally security let's them in,they came on after the real Rehab, and being we've never seen that style of music before, our minds where blown away,so after they finish their set my buddy, holds up a blunt and yells at the bass player and mike, you wanna smoke?. We got to go along side the stage, smoke with mike, the touring bass player,DJ and Drummer,we got a bunch of pics and autographs with them ,I got to check out the bass players 5string,they gave us t shirts and CDs too,one of the best times I ever bad

"Confusing what is real" indeed. Depression doesn't discriminate. You get depressed when you're at a really low point in your life. You also get depressed when things are going well. Depression makes you forget who you really are. It makes you forget about the good people that surround you, it makes you forget about all the good things you have going with your life. Those people, those things are real. Yet, why aren't you happy? RIP Chester. Thank you for singing things we can't describe with our own words. Thank you for helping us fight our battle against depression. Sorry we couldn't help you when you helped us.
